Bannon did NOT write the book and the author never worked in the WH.

“he’s a writer for The Guardian”

Then it makes sense. What I’m confused about is why Tucker was so adamant in support of this writer. Matt Schlapp referred to the write as ‘left wing’ and Tucker jumped all over that comment.

Exactly my thoughts. He’s destroyed himself over a nothing burger. The left loves that he used the “treasonous” word and will use it as fuel but there’s nothing to it. It is just a nasty opinion. Nothing can come of it. I don’t see the upside to this. It’s a horrible miscalculation - the left will NEVER like him and now neither does the right.

The only two words that jump to mind are “day drinkin”.

Hopefully breitbart news is planning an intervention soon. Trump only kept him around because he resembled his alcoholic brother he couldn’t save.

Bannon is actually wealthy in his own right. I think his problems are more conditional and while he likes to be seen leading the brigade, I don’t quite think it’s money he’s after. It’s just negative power he wants. There’s something missing inside his chest that revolutionizing everyone seems to fill.

He has a fascinating biography, lots of structure, military and Catholic, extremely intelligent, but he was an alcoholic and recovered. I’m sorry to see his self destruction by delusion of his skewed self importance.

I suspect Tucker knows him and likes him personally. That’s usually what it is with these swamp creatures.

Make no mistake. I’ve supported Trump from he beginning. It was Trump who would call in daily to the “shows” first thing in the morning and hammer the whole system. It was Trump whom, for the first time, spoke like a human being who knew other real human beings. It was Trump who wasn’t being bought by everyone. It was Trump who said, “never” to political correctness. The Ann Coulter’s and Steve Bannon’s of the world don’t know as much as they may think as to why people support Trump but I can assure you my support for Trump has absolutely nothing to do with Bannon. I support Bannon because he supports Trump. The moment he doesn’t I have no use for him. If he supports Trump I’ll support him even if Trump doesn’t but once it becomes clear to me that he’s against Trump then I have no use for him.

I’ve seen it reported, by someone who had the same experience with the author of this book, that the author is a scum bag who misquotes people - for his own gain.

THINK about it. Is Bannon a man who would mee kly make such statements to SOMEONE else to publish - or is he the man we know who says what he thinks straight up - on his own.

He’s no shrinking violet. and he has his OWN media outlet sources...

Just maybe, we - even Freepers - are still way to damn gullible and swallow whatever the media puts out there...and they are salivating over this - and we’re going right along with it without first letting the feathers settle.

I WOULD like to’ve seen POTUS wait until he could talk with Bannon personally - but I think Kelly prevents that...HE pretty much controls who gets to POTUS - even controls Ivanka’s access...

Could we exercise a bit of restraint?

Am I mistaken? The two comments were directed at Don Jr and Ivanka. I recall not so long ago concern over their influence in the administration. Bannon’s history has been to twist the MSM/leftists around from their own reporting/investigating to reveal the dishonesty/corruption that is the media/government today.
I am ignoring it all - seems another angle being played here to allow the establishment to dig another or a deeper hole somewhere. Depends on how many pay attention and are willing to do something about it.

I don’t care if Bannon in a fit of anger called Trump names, or Vice Versa honestly... I graduated High School in 1989, and thought I left his sort of nonsensical drama behind back then..... Its amazing what passes for “news” in the age of social media.

It's Bannon calling the Don Jr./Russian meeting treasonous, and saying that Trump had to have known about the meeting, that makes this news.

I blame Bannon. He's lost his mind.

Bannon goes hard after Trump ND his family to a rat Liberal”journalist”. Mitch has nothing to do with that. He can’t shut up about Javanka which is silly. They were with Trump long before Bannon. When Trump laid out his most controversial policies they still stood by him e even though they may not fully agree they have been loyal to the idea that his policies are what the people voted for. They may not agree with the Paris Accord policy but do you see them out there as talking heads trying to undercut him? Not even once. They had shown nothing but loyalty to this point

Thanks for the link. Boy, Gorka is sharp!

Keep in mind, the interviewer, Larry O’Conner, came into the interview right after dumping all over Bannon. O’Conner reference his time with Breitbart News as giving him special insight and a personal bias against Bannon who he believes is a charlatan who is only in it for himself. Time will tell who is right on Bannon.
