Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said Friday that he was not aware that the World Economic Forum was considered a gathering of the "global elite."

"I didn't realize it was the global elite," Mnuchin said at an event in Washington. "Actually, I've looked at the list. There's an awful lot of world leaders, there's an awful lot of finance chairs, there’s an awful lot of business people."

"This is an important economic agenda," he added, arguing that the gathering in Davos, Switzerland is just like any other conferences, like the annual Group of 20 summit.

He has a different definition of “global elite” than we do.
For him, its just the same gang of working stiffs that he yaks with everyday.

“was not aware that the World Economic Forum was considered a gathering of the “global elite.””

Nooooo... its just a gathering of top end bankers, the politicians they own, and the leaders of the biggest corporations who need government policy to be structured for them. And they all are working together for globalism and despise nationalism. Gosh, who could ever call THAT the global elite?

I don’t know what our President saw in this guy, but his past associations smell to high heavens in financial crisis fraud. And that goes for people he brought in with him like Otting.

Meanwhile, the Federal Reserve has stood down from investigating and monitoring banks for continued criminal behavior. They were never serious to begin with. Their actions were one big whitewash.

And meanwhile again, NY just reported foreclosures are the highest since 2009, as have many other states. The Bush dereliction and Obama grifting with the financial bad actors continue but they’ve learned to keep it under the radar and mislead with press reports saying it’s over. It’s not.

A good many nerds don’t realize they aren’t viewed by others the way they see themselves.

He means: “We’re taking over. If you don’t like it, try being relevant without America.”

I thought I posted this, but I don’t see it. So I’ll try again.

My daughter went to IMDB to see what movies Steven Mnuchin has produced.
Too long to list them here, but her favorites are the DC comic series, Tarzan and The Accountant.

Shocked, I was.

I took it as he’s belittling the arrogant snobs. “Hey everyone, we’re here, and we’re messing up your little party” - Trump and the boys...

So if you want to protect America’s financial interests and position America to win you should meet with busboys?

Or you should just make pronouncements from on high?

Maybe you should meet with the financial movers & shakers and convince them there is a new game in town.

It is good for the President and his side to attend. This is the same group that got together to find a way to bring down President Trump. Now President Trump will pay a visit to tell them that he running the show. Every economic policy he will put up will be only for the good of the country.
