Greg Gutfeld reacted to a CNN tweet dubbing the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as a "socialist before it was cool."
CNN ✔ @CNN - He's an environmental hero - He was a socialist before it was cool - He never let a political disagreement turn nasty
Many Americans have turned MLK into a safe holiday mascot, but some say King still speaks in ways that go beyond civil rights http://cnn.it/2DyooSM

Gutfeld said the notion that the Soviet Union's economic system was "cool" is a "perfect snapshot of the left."
"What a perfect distillation of the adolescent mindset in today's media and in Hollywood," he said.
Gutfeld said that, while the stock market routinely reaches new heights, many young liberals continue to yearn for "the most discredited economic system ever."

He’s(Gutfeld)fun to follow on Twitter.
It was cool except when it wasn’t, of course. It’s like the way that capitalism is the worst political philosophy in the world except for the rest.
Any liberal lurkers out there - cold hard truth time. Your elite "leaders" are promoting socialism and trying to impose it upon us via fascist means not because it is good for us, but because it would be good for them, the "more equal" animals...
I actually have a lib friend. I have no idea why he thinks how he does. Union guy from Reading...total s-hole.
Socialists of one flavor or another soaked the world in blood and wreaked starvation across the earth throughout the 20th century, but, hey, it’s cool to be a socialist now.
Exactly. There were the little hiccups along the way, mass killings, purges, etc. Any lib lurkers out there, go to Wikipedia and look up "mass killings under communist regimes." How "cool" is socialism now? Or look at what is happening in Cuba, Venezuela, etc. Starvation, riots, secret police, yeah, real cool libtards. Socialism sucks.
Same here but he's not a friend and never will be. He's just a fellow senior softball player who actually believes communism is the perfect form of government...
I've almost punched him out several times after he made disgusting comments about Justice Scalia's death and President Reagan........
“He was a socialist before it was cool”
Most Americans reject socialism precisely because it is not “cool”.
I train my friend at work. He’s a depressed fat guy, but I care for him.
“Any liberal lurkers out there - cold hard truth time. Your elite “leaders” are promoting socialism and trying to impose it upon us via fascist means...”
And before you impose socialism on the rest of us, you’re going to have to confiscate our guns - every pea-pickin’ last one of ‘em, before you proceed.
Otherwise, be prepared to encounter a rifle behind every blade of grass, as a WWII enemy of ours so aptly put it.
WOLVERINES!
And, in current events we have... Venezuela! And yet millennials supposedly love it. Incredible.
Being drunk on power is the “cool” part.
Eleminating your competition and or your inferiors.
I am certain the people who advocate socialism do not see themselves on the bottom rung of socialism but on the top.
Where all perks are.
For the moment, the ideological heirs of those that believe the flames of liberty must be extinguished and the aspirations of the individual curtailed for the alleged good of humanity have grown more sophisticated in their methods of getting the people to comply with their agenda.
We must ask with concern: will the aspiring despots among us resort to the violent tendencies of their philosophical progenitors in the attempt to bring about socialisms ultimate triumph?
And when they find out they're actually on the bottom rung, there's no way to back out of it.
Used to be, when you said anything even slightly disparaging about incremental socialism, the sheeple would bleat, "If it ever got too bad, we'd just vote it out!" Anybody remember that line?
Socialists who are sure they are anointed by God to rule don't respect the ballot box.
MLK was not a socialist, he was a a registered Republican. Isn’t that an inconvenient fact you never hear from the media.

You nailed it!
Did he weep for Fidel and Hugo? I had a couple of snootfulls of Bacardi and Coke.
#17 The people would not ever have that much food to eat. Only the commie party members would like those pictured.
