What about your screening service?

We don't screen until the hiring manager reviews the candidates.

To Quote: ‘I am business....’

Well, so am I. So are lots of other people on this site. Lots of extensive business experience is to be found on this site.

As for your particular knowledge from an HR perspective of a Fortune 100 company. I am sure you know the aspects of your particular business. What you seem to not understand is the larger economic impact of this diabolical program on the American public and culture.

Don’t sell me the nonsense that the American people, some 350 Million, the nation that made modern society and constitutes 22% of the entire GDP of the World can not find its’ own entry level IT professionals and have to rely on foreign born, barely able to speak English, Visa holders. It’s ludacris on its’ face.

It’s ludacris[sic] on its'[sic] face.

Perhaps you should visit a local top tier college and make an assumption on the demographics yourself.

That’s all you got?

You have been shown a fool. Must be deflating to have it done by someone with such poor grammar.

Sorry about that. I thought you were attacking me. I reread your post and I have not been to a top tier college since I graduated from one. Not in IT.

So like I said. You would know better about your particular situation, but Educational Visas and H-1B Visa programs are both abused for the benefit of foreigners.

All hail diversity!

That’s all you got?

Well that, and all the real world experience in the Fortune 100 that I shared previously.

You have been shown a fool

Your words, not mine. I wouldn't call them a fool, but if you feel they are, you should direct the reply to them.

I'm sorry that the actual real world doesn't fit your narrative, but in this case, actual experience has shown that, clearly.

Keane hires college graduates and puts them through COBOL programming school. If they pass the test, they get hired. Once they start working, they dangle Java and .NET in front of them.
The smart H1B’s go to work for the government because the government has to pay them like a white STEMman.

Sir after 40 years in the industry working for companies like Motorola (Austin) Intel National Semi ... etc and having trained my H1B replacements at least 10 time. I believe I have the life experience to say that you are full of BS

That is twice the experience I have, but it is also possible you perceived something that wasn't actually occurring. What you describe is very illegal, and you should have been able to easily prove so in a court.

Having never seen that at my company (larger than 2 of the 3 you mention), doesn't mean it doesn't occur, but the laws exist specifically to prevent what you describe. We are heavily audited and have never released anyone to replace them with a lower paid immigrant. 6000+ IT workers in my company.

I won’t say for privacy, but it’s in the top 10 Most Admired Companies to work for and one of the top in IT, but again, isn’t IT, but rather applied IT...

Well ... then you are the exception ... I have had it happen at Intel a couple of times. Also happened at Motorola AMD National-Semi Lattice TI Maxim Qualcomm Teradyne and a few smaller companies that have since gone BK. The longevity is around 3 years until it happens. My close friend had it happen to him at Cisco. I have had other close friends that had it happen at HP/Aligent and Cadence. So I don’t know what company you are working for BUT it is certainly the exception. BTW I’m a chip designer. And please don’t make me laugh about “the law” These companies skirt “the law” at will. You may not mean to be full of bull ... but in my 40 years experience as a silicon valley design engineer it is my educated opinion that you are

Fifteen years ago the people coming on H1B really were India’s “best and brightest”.

Today, not so much.

That has been my experience too. Don't get me wrong, the Indians I know are great people and very nice.

You may not mean to be full of bull

I've not seen it at all, nor have my friends at Citi, PWC, Fidelity, or Chase.

My company may be high on ethics, but I doubt it. It is speculation on my part, but I suspect you're experiencing poor performers who are being replaced by higher performers, but again, that is speculation on my part, as is your speculation.

Screw you low performers .... Citi PWC Fidelity or Chase are NOT high tech companies. I have just come out of retirement for the 6th time to fix design problems made by H1Bs. This time for Samsung. Take your low performance insult and shove it up your Obama. Before I thought you were just under/mis informed ... now I think your just a hack for the H1B’s and TOTALLY full of Chit

Right, I signed up to FR 16 years ago just to be a hack for H1B's. Good thinking...
