Ending chain migration is more important than The Wall.

I'd add voter reform to your list.

I don’t know if not having a budget in over 10 years, CRs to infinitum, 1 trillion dollar + annual deficits and unfunded liabilities of 300- 400 TRILLION dollars constitutes winning

TY, sir. Should be the ‘litmus test’ for all further threads, past the ‘18 election.

Schumer stubs his toe and the knee-pad brigade around here would be setting ablaze their torches for his funeral pyre *smh*

Even if Trump were to repeal EVERY rule/reg/EO from under Zero, that leaves us in no better position (as you eloquently posited)...’baby steps’, my @ss.

"No, you misunderstand. Having a law stating that we have no legal jurisdiction over them means that their children are not - CAN NOT - be U.S. citizens. It is a term of art that is necessary due to the language of the 14th Amendment."

No, I don't misunderstand. Not having legal jurisdiction means having immunity. They could commit a crime and be immune from prosecution, just like other people that have immunity like diplomats. That's why that phrase is in the 14th, to except people like diplomats.

What is being suggested here to get around the 14th is to give these people immunity from our law. Not a great plan.

Thanks. All the cheering rah rah, night show moments, one uppah gamesmanship still leaves this country in a despicable position. I get it and I do like Trump however sticking it to Schumer verbally around here gets us no closer to climbing out of the continual sinking hole of spending money we don’t have. I’ve not heard a PEEP about a balanced budget, a whisper about what will sink this country (300-400 TRILLION in unfunded liabilities) or the massive continuing debts by continued CR after CR.

I just witness “oh did you see the latest Tweet twit twat, ooooo did you hear what so and so said that made a headline? Whoopty sh!!

Obviously not written by a lawyer. It never addresses the legal issue. Mentions the politics, mentions a few things around it, but never the meaning of "under the jurisdiction". It is wrong to suggest this phrase isn't understood. It certainly is. If you pass a law making children born of illegals outside our jurisdiction, you are giving them legal immunity.

I think a rule that requires legal residency before being able to birth citizens is not unreasonable. But it would require a constitutional amendment.
