I think he should do the STOUA and at the conclusion, announce a 20 minute break for anyone that would like to leave the building before he reads the memo word for word. What can I say, I like drama... ;-)

Because it doesn’t matter any more and it would have caused further delay. It was an attempt to delay release until the whole House had been briefed.

The vote they took settled the matter - it’s going public in five days or less depending on what the President wants to do.
