FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe is stepping down from his job and is expected to be replaced by David Bowdich, a senior official who headed the FBI’s response to the terrorist attack in San Bernardino, Calif., according to people familiar with the plans.

McCabe will formally retire in March but plans to leave the deputy director position now, a person close to the matter confirmed to The Washington Post’s Devlin Barrett and Matt Zapotosky on Monday. McCabe has often been a target of President Trump — who asked the deputy director in a private discussion whom he had voted for in the presidential election — and congressional Republicans, who have criticized the FBI for its Russia probe. He will use leave time to fill out his remaining time at the agency.

Here’s what we know about Bowdich:

He began his career as a police officer in New Mexico

The Albuquerque native graduated from New Mexico State University in 1991. He worked as an officer with the Albuquerque Police Department from 1991 to 1995, patrolling the Southeast and North Valley area commands, according to the Albuquerque Journal. He also worked as a detective during his time in the North Valley.

“He was very ambitious, very smart and very physically fit,” Deputy Police Chief Robert Huntsman told the Albuquerque Journal. Huntsman was a sergeant when Bowdich was a cadet at the police academy.

“He was an informal leader for the other cadets,” Huntsman said.

HAPPY NEW YEAR to you Brother! Hope that you and yours are prospering and enjoying life!

Oh, man! I do pray that he is one of US! Since he was a REAL Cop and not some Ambulance Chasing Shitbird, I am encouraged!

In any case, keep the hardware well maintained and ready to dance!

God Bless!

Zactly. Someone told me they thought the vast majority of “the rank and file” were good, honorable people but I would have to think long and hard about whether I would go out on a limb for “the vast majority”, to be honest.

When you are escorted to the door without even a cardboard box to stop by your office, driven to the airport, put on a company airplane and flown to the far side of the country and dumped on the tarmac I also, do not see how this event lines up with “decided to leave”. At what point was any decision he made even relevant?

I would be careful about anyone from the Albuquerque PD.

They do not have the most sterling reputation. New Mexico has been a hot spot for Democrats.

It makes me wonder. I would like to know more about this guy.

Sounds like he is a hard-charger, but that does not necessarily translate into strong ethics.

There are theoretically three categories of FBI types: the 0bama blackhat cabal, those who condone the actions of the 0bama blackhat cabal, and those who condemn the actions of the 0bama blackhat cabal.

Your logic misses an obvious category: Those that don’t know about the blackhat cabal. Probably the largest category, considering the cabal is/did attempt to disquise/hide it’s activity.

Here is what i was looking for.Now I am suspicious of Bowdich.
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2018/01/swamp-strikes-new-acting-deputy-director-replacing-andrew-mccabe-previously-worked-comey-hide-clinton-lynch-tarmac-meeting-press/

Newsweek has learned that an FBI official who served as associate deputy director under James Comey and Andrew McCabe is replacing McCabe as acting deputy director. An FBI spokesperson was not immediately available to comment. The news was also reported by CNN, NPR and Fox News.

As associate deputy director, David Bowdich was the third-ranking FBI official, according to the bureau’s organization chart, and would now become No. 2.

[…]

But Republican lawmakers and conservative commentators who have called for a “purge” of the bureau’s Comey-era officials might be disappointed, given his former proximity to Comey and McCabe. In testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee last June, Comey said he had spoken to senior colleagues including Bowdich about President Donald Trump’s allegedly asking Comey to have the FBI back off its probe into Michael Flynn, the former national security adviser.

Because of that apparent conversation, and because he was the No. 3 official under Comey, Bowdich is a potential witness into whether Trump obstructed justice by firing Comey. Last June, Senator Dianne Feinstein, the ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, requested that the committee interview Bowdich and other FBI officials as the panel investigated Comey’s termination.

According to previous reports, before his departure, McCabe told Bowdich and other senior FBI officials they may have to serve as witnesses to dirty cop Mueller’s Russian witch hunt against President Trump.

According to documents obtained by conservative watchdog group, Judicial Watch Bowdich was also involved in conversations with Comey about the Clinton-Lynch tarmac meeting.

Bowdich was one of the senior FBI officials scrambling to find the ‘whistleblower’ who outed Bill Clinton and Loretta Lynch to the local Phoenix media about their secret tarmac meeting in June of 2016.

Screenshot of redacted Clinton-Lynch tarmac meeting document obtained by Judicial Watch showing Bowdich included in the cover up:

President of Judicial Watch Tom Fitton previously blasted the corrupt FBI officials (David Bowdich included), who fiercely worked to make sure the Clinton-Lynch tarmac meeting would not be revealed to the public:

“These new FBI documents show the FBI was more concerned about a whistleblower who told the truth about the infamous Clinton-Lynch tarmac meeting than the scandalous meeting itself. The documents show the FBI worked to make sure no more details of the meeting would be revealed to the American people. No wonder the FBI didn’t turn these documents over until Judicial Watch caught the agency red-handed hiding them. These new documents confirm the urgent need to reopen the Clinton email scandal and criminally investigate the resulting Obama FBI/DOJ sham investigation.”

We elected Donald Trump to drain the swamp. Until every single one of the these Deep State operatives are flushed out, it will be business as usual in D.C.

His favorite cops-and-robbers movie is “The Untouchables” “Eliot Ness’ character was unyielding, tenacious, principled,” he told the Times’s Morrison. “That describes what a law enforcement professional should be.”

I like that...
