Just when you thought Democrats and other liberals couldn't sink any lower in their polluted swamp, pow! they prove you wrong, wallowing deeper in their filthy slime.
Tuesday night, the Democrats who grudgingly appeared for the State of the Union address refused to applaud President Donald J. Trump's (R) supposedly neutral references to the brave military, the importance of family or the low minority unemployment rate. Apparently triggered by positive chants of "USA! USA! USA!", Rep Luis Gutierrez (D-Obama's once home city and state of Chicago, IL) stalked out.
After the speech, the Democrats and their fellow resisters then denounced the president's calls for unity, labelling them divisive. Even the all-white pantsuit worn by Trump's immigrant wife, Melania, triggered (that violent word again) more criticism.

not that I object to Guiterrez being labeled classless, but I did read an interview with him wherein he said that he did not leave because of any chants, that Pres T. was running overtime (true) and Mr. G. had a scheduled interview and he left his seat, ‘stood in the back for the last 90 sec’, and then scooted first-out-the-door to his interview. So maybe he gets a break on that one for now?

No one slips out of the SOTU for an interview. The interviewer knows how long the SOTU is taking.
I don’t believe it - I think he simply was facing backlash for his grandstanding exit and made up an excuse to exonerate himself. I read something earlier about him initially excoriating Trump for his “divisive nationalist speech” and how he felt he had tolerated it long enough. Dems lie.

Why would he schedule an interview when he knew he was attending the SOTU? They always run from about 9 to 10:30, plus time for the president and all to exit the chamber. Why wouldn’t he just schedule it for after the address, when ever that may be? Not buying it.
Did the FBI help plan this “accident”?
