Not exactly. In that case the traitor was giving the speech.

🤔 Thank you for your service Tammy. And your loss. Too bad the experience didn't learn you nuthin'. Some of us actually took the oath we swore to to heart. Mine is still in effect 50+ years after I first took it. 🇺🇸. There are a lot of folks who had deferments for various reasons. I'm able to accept that, you should too.

She didn’t applaud THE COUNTRY
The president did not say to stand up and applaud HIM.

D-IL. Enough said.
Can’t even represent their own state decently, let alone a country.

It’s particularly classless for a wounded vet to denigrate a citizen who got a deferment from active duty.
Dummy Crapworth should just carry on as a worthless politician from a corrupt state and keep sucking up to dickhead turdbin.

Instead he gave secret signals and phrases that those type should be disregarded and marginalized at every turn. At least that seems to be how the Libs interpreted it. 🇺🇸👹

Actually, I do not agree. The Repubes gave O’crappo everything he wanted. They also fell for the “sit with a RAT” joke and clapped.
You must have trouble remembering those things.

I agree with that. Too many times GOP leaders have just smiled and done nothing when a counterpunch would have been more appropriate.
But I wish Trump would be more selective in his responses. Not every problem needs to be hit with a sledgehammer. A sledgehammer is certainly an awesome tool. But sometimes a rubber mallet is more effective.

Did she applaud Draft Dodger Bill Clinton on any public occasion?
Carpetbagger Duckworth (she had to change addresses several times before finding a winnable Congressional seat — aided by gerrymandering) is the Max Cleland to a new generation of Democrats. A disabled veteran who cannot be openly criticized for liberal positions on a host of issues.

Former Senator Max Cleland (D-GA) thought he was untouchable - so his seat was safe and secure - for the same reasons.

At least Duckworth was injured by enemy fire.
To: PBRCat
Of course she did, just like the #metoo crowd voted en masse for Hillary.
To: dforest
They also fell for the sit with a RAT joke and clapped. OK ... if true ... Do you agree with that? Is that the correct thing for an opposition party to do? Is that what you, personally, would have done had you been a member of congress during the 0bama Regime?

Veterans, like myself, don’t get to coast forever on their service. McCain is a perfect example of someone that USED to serve honorably. And neither does Duckworth.

I watched his speech in Ohio yesterday, he was referring to the dems refusing to clap even for record low unemployment, more jobs, and growing economy, all good things for the country. Someone in the audience yelled out that it was “treasonous”, and Trump said, “someone called it treason, so why not.”

You may be right, but I trust Trump’s judgment.
He certainly has us moving in the right direction.
