Comey was forced to tell Congress about Weiner emails because George Toscas found out about them!

On Wednesday the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee released a majority staff report titled “The Clinton Email Scandal And The FBI’s Investigation Of It.” The committee also released thousands of text messages between two agents and lovebirds Peter Strzok and Lisa Page that shed light on the criminal intent of deep state players to avoid prosecution of Hillary Clinton and to block and destroy a Trump presidency.(snip)

Peter Strzok was the Chief of the Counterespionage Section during the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a personal email server. He also hated Donald Trump along with his lover Lisa Page.

In this exchange posted online Peter Strzok admits the DOJ was forced to tell Congress about the Weiner laptop emails only because George Toscas at the DOJ found out about them.

What is unthinkable about this is that an ‘affair’ seems to be granted some status of relationship privilege as if this was like a husband-wife relationship.

Absolutely! All of those texts are the property of the US taxpayers. There should be no notion of "privacy" involved.

I’ve been wondering, through all of this ‘lovebirds’ stuff, where is Mrs Peter Strzok?? Since they (reports) always refer to Lisa Page as ‘Mistress’.

I found this....

Early life and education

Strzok attended high school in Minnesota.[14] He earned a bachelors degree from Georgetown University in 1991 as well as a master’s degree in 2013.[15] He is married to Melissa Hodgman, an associate director at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.[16][17][18] His father was a longtime member of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.[19] Like his father, Strzok served as an officer in the United States Army before joining the FBI in the 1990s as an intelligence research specialist.[20][21]

On a thread Wed. or Thurs., someone pointed out a phrase Page used that sounded “off”. It was mentioned that they might not be lovers at all, but that she was planted by Russia and is actually Strzok’s “handler”.

I thought about that— that Strzok and Page could actually have been more afraid of being caught in an affair than of insulting Chelsea or Trump. The only problem, though, is that they thought Hillary would win. Couldn’t Strzok imagine what she’d do as POTUS if she discovered what he’d said about Chelsea?

Looks like they were just going to file the emails and information about them away until the NY prosecutor asked about them and then followed up about a month later. Don’t you know they gagged at the knowledge they were about to be forced to release another few thousand emails re Hillary just before the election.

You have to laugh at all the rats scurrying to retire or otherwise try to find cover at both the DOJ and the Federal Bureau of Matters. It must be spooky on the FBI 7th floor right now what with all the empty offices and ghost-like figures wandering the halls with their heads in their hands and a pocket full of subpoenas for more testimony.

The Clinton Criminal Mob has managed to destroy the DOJ, State, and FBI over the years. And of course, Obaama and the Democrat machine was right in there helping to politicize the Federal Government in all the agencies. Soon you will see the deplorable peasants surrounding the buildings with torches and pitchforks. As Pat Buchanan used to say, “Patriots need to ride to the sound of the guns.

The mills of the Gods grind slowly, but they grind exceedingly fine.

There are thousands of texts between them that aren’t being released. There could be lovey-dovey crap in them.

I am pretty sure I don’t want to see his “dick” pics. I also have no desire to humiliate his wife any more than has already happened. Unlike the Dems, we have some decency.

Well… that’s very magnanimous of you but what you are suggesting is that it is just fine for these treasonous thugs to be given another backdoor escape method. I agree totally with glorgau in post 62… this is all “property of the US taxpayers.” Does releasing all the texts mean that a spouse will be humiliated?… Absolutely it does but that is NOT the fault of anyone who is involved in decisions to release the texts. The responsibility for the content of the texts is Strzok and Page alone! They made the decision to do what they did…. no one else. Married people have a very clear duty to protect their spouses and clearly these two abandoned theirs and did it for the worst of reasons…. I can’t imagine a mechanism that allows them to be rescued from their bad choices. Worse yet is that there may be an even worse door open that all of this opens... that as 'lovers', they escape the possibility of testifying against each other, just like a wife and husband.

Bingo.

The only text that might indicate such is the fake one, once they found out the IG was capturing their texts:

“don’t ever text me again”.

That’s it.

No sexts, sexual references, innuendo, ever...weird for two people so apparently lusting for each other.

Dan Bongino said the story was forced out before Comey wanted to talk about it because the agents in the FBI field office who had uncovered the emails were threatening to release them on their own if their supervisors didn’t act.....

What an idiotic suggestion that has nothing to do with anything that I said. Once upon a time, there was a certain amount of honour with people and certain principles flowed from that. What will happen now is that if you leave a door open a crack for the purpose of a principle, it just gets violated. A similar situation exists with Comey and the leaking he did through his friend... now he is going to claim that his friend is his lawyer so that any communication between the two falls under attorney-client privilege provisions. This has nothing to do with wanting to see any pictures (if there are any) and I’ll be happy to leave that to you... since you mentioned it and obviously are somewhat obsessed about the idea. All I care about is that folks not get sucked into this idea that these two were ‘lovers’ as opposed to ‘two adulterous scum on a mission to bring down the president’, and as such they should let them off the hook on releasing their taxpayer paid for texts by claiming a privilege that should never exist. Is that clear enough?
