Let’s double deck I-5 through LA county or go underground with a tunnel.

Of course we could use a high speed train. Ontario and Burbank to barstow then 1 line to Vegas. Gambling on the train to help pay for it.

I-15 a traffic jam. Or let the vegas hotels pay with an occupancy tax. That’s where everyone going.

If cal would spend the gas tax on Hwys as the laws require we wouldn’t need toll roads.

Pomona took a lot of blacks after the watts riot. Changed the nature of the city. The surrounding cities wouldn’t see to blacks. HUD or whatever it was at the time moved a lot of ,welfare and parolees to pomona.

Yes, but then they could not extort/blackmail us with potholes to justify tax increases.

My town wanted a local tax, for road repair, you know.

They posted a sign, Vote for Measure X, right next to the biggest pothole farm on the main road.

That just reinforced my opposition, and illustrates their insincere scheme.

It did pass, after a couple of tries, and they did fix that particular problem area.

But they have left another pothole collection, which is eroding quickly, and are diverting road repair money to Quality of Life efforts.

Hmmmm. Fixing potholes would enhance Quality of Life (if they were honest).

On the way to Reno, the my least favorite stretch of Rte. 395 is through the Adelanto area.

Lots of folks have died on 395. Impatient. Drunk. Tired. Got to get home from Mammoth.

I drive it in high alert mode. Been forced to hit the ditch to allow cars to pass, two-wide in one lane.

The highway will encourage, boost, the already active residential building boom out there, and the water for all the additional people there is coming from where?
