Be careful, kristy. This ‘moral high ground’ that you have placed yourself in can be very shaky. We all know of your silence during the Bill Clinton, Anthony Weiner, Eliot Spitzer fiascos. Believe me, there are a lot more in the Senate and Congress. People that you know about and have said nothing for years. What does that say about you??

So men are guilty when accused, and are not allowed to have a fair trial.

I can see why she defends big government, and corruption then.

She is lucky to be a Senator.

No luck involved. Who pulled all of those strings so they could pull her strings? Who?

First action is to take a course on the Constitution and the Rules of Impeachment offered by Hillsdale College. After passing the course, then speak because right now you are an empty box of rocks.

"Gillibrand, who was among the first to call for former Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) to resign due to sexual misconduct allegations"

Yep. Someone, I'm not sure if I can recall who it was, called this what it was at the time.

Franken was, for obvious reasons, the Dem's throwaway in the Senate for more than one reason, one of them being precedent for going after Trump. They were happy to throw him under the bus because they got to keep that seat, and get a clearly sick and demented person out of their ranks.

They don't have Franken underfoot any more, they now at least believe that they have precedent to go after Trump, and the Senate seat stayed with them because it's in a state with a friendly governor. In their way of thinking, what's the downside?

Ms. Gillibrand, OTOH, needs to keep something in mind about striking out at certain people...

Trump’s tweet that Gillibrand “would do anything” for contributions must have left a mark. “Hell hath no fury...etc.”

Nothing gets American Voters more engaged than being lectured to by Politicians who have never worked in the Private Sector.

I honestly thought it would go hot a long time ago. It’s inevitable though, might as well do it up.

I thought it would go hot back in the 70s. I still believe it will eventually. I don’t think we will be able to find enough lamp posts.

Gillibrand, you’re all foul air. You’ve not got the Stones big enough, or hard enough to do more than waste air.

Gillibrand used to be a partner in the law firm of Boies, Schiller & Flexner. That law firm is the single largest contributor to Gillibrand’S House and Senate campaigns, having donated more than $750,000 since 2005:
https://www.opensecrets.org/members-of-congress/summary?cid=N00027658&cycle=CAREER&type=I

David Boies, who is the founding member of that law firm and a mentor to Gillibrand, represented Harvey Weinstein with respect to the sexual misconduct claims and secretly tried to kill a story about Weinstein in the New York Times — even though he represented the NY Times in other matters:

https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2017/11/weinstein-boies/545273/

https://www.law.com/americanlawyer/sites/americanlawyer/2017/12/06/rico-class-action-ties-boies-kl-gates-to-weinstein-sexual-enterprise/

http://www.businessinsider.com/david-boies-harvey-weinstein-new-york-times-2017-11

I HEARBY DEMAND THAT KRISTEN GILLIBRAND RETURN ANY AND ALL CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS FROM DAVID BOIES AND HIS LAW FIRM AND TO COMPLETELY DISASSOCIATE FROM THEM BECAUSE OF THEIR ASSOCIATION WITH WEINSTEIN, WHO IS UNDOUBTEDLY THE MOST NOTABLE SEXUAL PREDATOR SINCE BILL CLINTON..

"for the numerous allegations"

The new standard of guilt. There's only a few woman, ones that I can count on 2 fingers, that can win the Presidential election in 2020 and neither of them are Democrats. By the time 2020 comes along, guilt by allegations, particularly of the female sort is going to be so old and so tiresome to the American voter, male or female that it will do them no good and perhaps hurt their chances for even a nomination.
