Look up the case of Giuseppe Zangara. He took a shot at the president but hit the mayor of Chicago by mistake. Hizzonor not dying immediately, the charge was attempted murder, the verdict guilty. But Cermak died. So, another trial, another verdict, another sentence: Old Sparky!
The crime was on 15 February 1933. The sentence was carried out on 20 March. Zangara was disappointed there were no photographers. SJW to the end, his last words were ""Viva l'Italia! Goodbye to all poor peoples everywhere!... Pusha da button! Go ahead, pusha da button!"

A death penalty allows years of appeals. A life sentence in the general population would be swifter. Even felons detest the scum he is.

Add in only 15 minutes of jury deliberation and this monster will expire of old age before he is executed.

So far so good now execute him Saturday then bring on the next case.
Drawing & quartering, very slowly, would be a fitting punishment. Try to get it to last a full day before he croaks off.

Washington State, Kalfornicated years ago, is a lib stronghold where conventional values are reversed. They do not value the life of the young and they protect felons. So I expect them to repeal the death penalty.
