Liberal politicians with their bodyguards attack us for owning guns.
And they use dead kids as a prop to call for a solution that’s a complete diversion from the fact bad guys exist.
That no law on earth will ever stop.

He was reported by a chat room user to the FBI, which interviewed the man and supposedly followed up. Cruz was using his own name in the chat room, but the FBI said they couldnt establish his identity. This was only last fall.

If you are referring to the You Tuber, BenTheBondsman, he is a Mississippi bondsman who runs a channel on You Tube. He saw Cuz’s comment in the comment section on his channel last fall. Cuz posted with his REAL NAME. I have no indication the Bureau tried to track him down using the social media sites to see what he was up to. His Facebook site was not taken down until the day of the shooting. There were suspicious, red flags on that site.

While true, tell that little factoid to the families of the dead.
Drugs, because politicians probably get rich off of them, and suicide will always be around.
Mental health is a real issue, but at least half of the population is insane and promote their insanity daily.

Why is a 19 year old adult at school with kids? You're kidding, right?
There are plenty of 19 year old people in schools across the nation this very minute.
You've never heard of someone failing classes and being held back a year? That can put them into their 19th year.

That is always the case. Even if the “dead” was the only guy in the entire nation that was killed by a bad man with a gun.
It is necessary to look past the emotional aspect and look to what will actually keep this from happening again, but ensuring we balance individual freedom with the statistical risk. Everything involves risk. It is only when it becomes prohibitively dangerous that we curtail individual freedom. This is why Meth is illegal.

Whenever you hear a politician say, “If this saves one child’s life, it’s worth it”, he’s lying. There is always an acceptable death rate regarding any human endeavor. Abolishing all cars would save a LOT of childrens’, and even us less valuable adults, lives. Oddly, we don’t do it.
I guess there are things more important than just ensuring as few people as possible die. ;)

When you consider how many students are in public school every day, and how many are shot in this sort of circumstance, this is really not as pressing an issue as some would have you believe. Id worry more about drug overdose and suicide.
...
I’d say many more students are killed going to and from school. The day this happened I was reading about the story of a girl who died after being hit by a car while running to her bus stop. When I was in school a friend of mine was killed the same way.

Some 19 yrs olds can pass for 16 or 17 years of age. I was able to do this at age 25. One day I had off from work, I decided to go to my old high school. I just walked in amongst the students. No body seemed to notice me, blended right in. I even sat in a class until class time, telling kids I was a new student, then when the teacher walked in, I acted like I was in the wrong room and left. Of course this was some years ago when security was far more lax.

Yeah. We’re on the same page here.
I will respect the viewpoint that this is different, because someone did it on purpose, but only to a degree.

Another thing, they aren’t talking about the “fire alarm” problem. This guy pulled the alarm, and all the kids do exactly what they are supposed to do, head for the hallway and exit in orderly fashion ... only they were exiting right into this murderer’s sites. So how do you solve that, have them in classrooms where only the teacher can call the shot? Kind of a conundrum.

If there had been a congressman visiting the school that day, or even a minor celebrity, there would have been significant security. But there were just kids there. Excellent point!
Gun Free Zones are shooting ranges!
To: Moonman62
He shot security. Duh.
From a news report about the shooting ... “Aaron Feis, an assistant football coach and security guard, was shot after throwing himself in front of students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., according to news reports.”

Gee, maybe he walked around the end of the fence, huh? I've yet to find a wall around the school that the lying msm is spouting. Oops, ya mean a wall is a protective device????
