I wondered why it was down and was afraid one of the eagles had been injured or worse. Haven’t been on the computer since earlier in the day. Where was that nesting material when they really needed it! *sigh*

it’s snowing to beat the band in Decorah and mom is covered up and has a 2nd egg. Those eggs will be kept cozy and warm.

I haven’t checked lately but it was pretty soggy at DH when I looked in earlier. As long as it’s just rain it’s all good. Wind...no!

We had wind today....and tan/gray skies. Dust. Blech! Hope y’all missed all the bad stuff!

It just went out - blip. There wasn’t much going on at the time. Mom left a few times, I guess in search of food, and Dad showed up a couple of times.

He didn’t bring new materials in. He dug up the old stuff that was around and under the eggs. Mom moved it when she got back.

Those poor northern birds can’t catch a break, can they? Just now looking at other nests and see the snow at Decorah. At least these eagles are the same pair and the eggs will come through just fine. Great parents.

It’s soggy across the state. We’ve had rain today, as has DH. We should be safe as far as storms go but DH and my brother are in the tornado watch area and I’m keeping a close eye on things. Tornados have been busting out all evening and another one just popped up just outside Clarksville.

I do hope for a thunderstorm or two tonight with pretty lightning but that’s it.

Our weather...and our day...was pretty boring. But that’s not a bad thing. Could have done without the dust blowing, but it’s the desert.

Thanks. I’m hopin’ right along with ya! There have already been fatalities in TN and a lot of wind damage today. It would be great if all the storms would calm down NOW.

I feel for y’all having to deal with the dust. GACK! I hope you didn’t have to get out in the mess today.

It’s been warm, cloudy, and quite windy here with a few brief showers. It was nice enough to not rain while I was out running a couple of errands this afternoon.
Kittehs don’t like wind when it blows hard so they didn’t stay out very long.

Goodness...so sorry there has been damage there in TN from the wind, etc. It DOES need to calm down!

The farthest I went today was out to the flower beds to see how the bulbs are coming along. Then I came in. Wind was nasty!

Mine don’t like the wind either. it ruffles their hair. Peaches is out now, but I’ll bet he scurries in when hubby gets home. LOL!
