Well, the severe storms calmed down and we just got a heavy rain for a few minutes along with wind. There were a couple of flashes of lightning but that was it. One of the benefits of the system going through so late at night. Not enough energy to keep things fired up.
Now the wind has died and we have steady rain falling, and the temp is dropping. The front has gone through. LOTS of water all over the yard and ditches are full. Gonna rain for a while yet so we’ll be swampy tomorrow.

Lovely weather this morning! Penny and I went to the BEACH and walked. Of course, the beach was not “groomed” because it’s winter, so it was a wee bit nasty.
