I really like the part about doing away with Due Process ... Lets just take away the guns THEN let the courts decide if it was legal! OK, now for the burning question, just who is going to collect all 300 million guns in America? Local LEOs? Feds? Local Gang-bangers? That would fall under the heading of Come and get them! Start throwing away the Constitution and you are no better than Obongo and CW2 gets underway immediately.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he is playing most of us too. Seeing how many of us get totally riled up over this “gun control” talk, just to demonstrate how much support there is for gun rights and how little there is for control.

Trump always makes it look like he is completely willing to go to the liberal side. He needs to miff his base to make his fake move look legit.
When something bad comes out, he then uses that to say the liberal move is a bad idea, and now he can say he was completely willing to go full liberal, but this one thing broke the opportunity, so he has to do the conservative thing, because that’s he only prudent way.
God, how I miss Ronald Reagan...
When you’re dealing with minors it’s a different matter. Mom and dad can decide whether you get a gun and there is no due process. Maybe even the school principal if he’s in loco parentis.
And, according to the NRA’s endorsement
and rating (just before the election),
our president does also.
I doubt Trump is a Trojan horse when
it comes to supporting the 2ND amendment.
He knows what he’s up against. 5.5
million members of the NRA is a mighty
force.
This will be like the DACA deal. Trump
wants armed protectors on school grounds.
The Dems do not, and instead want a ban
on “assault” style weapons. If he doesn’t
get what he wants in a bill, it won’t get
passed. This, of course is just my humble
opinion.
