Yep, choking down acai and depressing yourself with yoga doesn’t make for a happy state or help miss the litter strewn streets in San Francisco, the 58,000 homeless in LA, or the many millions of illegal aliens infesting every corner of the state.
Life under perpetual Democrat regimes - the chickens come home to roost, to quote some famous preacher....
When the Govt starts ‘improving the quality of life’,
this is a path to socialism.
My Life Quality is bad. Govt will fix it.
To improve MY Quality of Life, get the Govt OUT.
Life under perpetual Democrat regimes -
><
That’s an especially depressing thought.
Bull crap
Our politicians do suck ass
But the weather scenery mountains and every other metric is off the charts number one
As long as you stick to nature here CA IS NUMBER ONE

My oldest daughter and her family moved to Des Moines almost two years ago, and loves it. She and her family were living in San Francisco, moved to San Mateo as rents rose, then skipped out of California amid rising costs. From what I've seen of Des Moines in visits there, it's a saner place to be. No fighting insane commute traffic and crowds of unruly people; very nice people in Iowa. One thing they miss is the food, leaving behind thousands of restaurants serving high quality food from all cultures. Food in Iowa is simplistic and ordinary, but you can't have everything. Sanity and wholesomeness are more important.
If you’ve got buckets of money laying around, California can be quite nice.
But, then again, you could say that about anywhere....
Just goes to show the cosmic balance of life. Sure you get awesome weather and scenery but pay for it through sky high taxes and libtard nonsense.

Does that include their home cooking?
Yaaaay, some winners are all cold weather states-——and I HATE summer.
.
“says who?”
Leftism is incapable of self-correction at any point before it becomes a full blown communist dictatorship when it eventually collapses.
You can’t separate the scenery from the political/social environment. Somalia has spectacular beaches too.
Example: I live in Watsonville California, and on ocassion need to travel to Palo Alto Ca. Twenty-five years ago that was a pleasant ride, while you enjoyed well-kept highways with garden lined grass, trees, flowers. Now, its an hour ride of seeing the same Garbage lining fifty miles of highway, the same garbage month after month. You can’t support Mexico’s poor and maintain a state’s infrastructure.
“Somalia has spectacular beaches too.”
If you think CA is anything like Somalia, you haven’t been to CA, or Somalia.
Yep, it's most everyplace, just don't step in that California number two.
You will have a hard time convincing a bunch of people in California of that. This place is all about a good lifestyle.
California will always great weather and that beats humid, freezing, bugs on lifestyle every day of the year.
