Tragic. Most likely an illegal and/or ‘banger, although he didn’t appear to have any ink. One question though, having dealt with law enforcement for 25 years and having a sibling who is an active 25 year LEO, my sibling’s first question is ‘Why were the officers standing in front of the door of a fleeing, barricaded suspect?’ if the preliminary reports are correct. He has noticed a disturbing decline in adequate training among officers resulting in safety issues for both officers and the public.
