I was driving around St. Louis last fall, very near Ferguson, where recently a white cop shot dead a black teen. A black man, V, was waiting at a bus stop alone. I figured I could get him home half an hour earlier than the bus, so I stopped and offered him a ride. As we talked, I learned that his entire life experience has been in one locale, North St. Louis. I asked him what the news is around here and what's going on. I referenced Ferguson. That got V going.

Giving rides to strangers at bus stops these days, does not seem particularly prudent. Especially for a man with kids to think of. Just saying...
When you think about it, being left alone is all that freedom is about. It’s really that simple.

This white man would like to not be blamed for the Black communities failures. This white man would like his heritage protected and treated fairly. This white man would like to feel safe in any neighborhood in any city in America (I carry, so I generally do). This white man would to see the Black community embrace Morality and Responsibility again. This white man who grew up in a single parent household and who was only able to achieve what he did through Military service, proper behavior and hard work, would like to stop hearing that he has some type of non existent privilege. This white man who believes in equality and treating people as individuals based on the content of their character, would ask that he be treated the same. Sadly, that America is gone. I long for that America.
Absolutely terrible, I can’t believe you are writing articles like this, are you trying to put out of business all the poverty pimp and race baiting organizations?? Why would you try to take away their one political advantage of branding everyone a racist.

I would not think about race all the time but I am forced to by the constant attacks.
