Say Lefties, what’s the rate of violent deaths in Europe in the last 100 years? It absolutely dwarfs ours.
This is when they get indignant and claim you “can’t count” the tens of millions murdered by tyrants who first ensured their own populations were disarmed. The answer to this is to just refer them to the Founding Father’s statements about why private gun ownership is essential.
We know the level of violence we will see if leftists attempt to confiscate guns from American citizens. Rather than matching Europe, it will put Syria to shame. I would regret seeing that come to pass, although not as much as I would regret seeing us all disarmed by tyrants.
