Of note - Holder appointed Robin Ashton to head up the Office of Professional Responsibility in 2010, saying she would “lead the office with the highest standards of professionalism, integrity and dedication.”
It was her recommendation that McCabe be fired.

Correct DOJ IG Horowitz is an Obama appointee.
And the head of the FBI OPR, which recommended McCabe firing, was was appointed by Mueller, who was FBI Director at the time.

“The best thing going for the President on this one is that the IG was an Obama appointee, and this was his report.”
That is the essential fact and yet it is the fact the LameStreamMedia intentionally wants ignored, to put the “Trump fired McCabe” fiction as what the sheeple are supposed to remember.
Then they also pretend that the fact that McCabe made notes of his conversations with Trump that that automatically means those notes are detrimental to Trump. So, the keep playing over and over the theme that “Trump may have fired NcCabe BUT Mueller has all McCabes notes on his conversations with Trump” - telling the sheeple that “definitely means something ‘bad’ for Trump”.

The OPR made the recommendation based upon the IG report, and Sessions made the final decision. The lefties are pushing this "Trump fired McCabe" nonsense as a distraction. Adding to the distraction are all of the silly comments coming from Brennan, Holder, Comey, ClapTrap, et al
