Embrace your heyday, buy a Member’s Only jacket if you ever stopped wearing them, get some Jordache jeans, part your hair in the middle and grow it over your ears. Then comes the Trans Am with t-tops.

Me, I’ll be in the same boat in 20 years, stuck in the 90’s. Every generation fixates upon the music of their young adulthood, and every generation largely thinks what came after sucks.

Me, I pride myself on a broad taste in music but have to admit, what passes for pop music now is auto tuned to death, the lyrics are just dumb and the “singers” are chosen for looks and dancing ability.

There’s still plenty of good new music being made, though. You just won’t ever hear it on commercial radio, you have to go find it.

I think one of the worst songs ever produced is "Eleanor Rigby." Just dreadful. I can't imagine why anyone would voluntarily listen to it.

Dang, man, that's one of the most amazing songs ever made, and it certainly was a bold step at the time for a "guitar band".

Only 2 I’m sure I know are the REM one and Jeremy. I’m sure I’ve heard most of them, but they made no lasting impression on me.

Where’s Hootie?

Music went off the rails in the early 90's, when grunge/modern rock and hip hop took over. Country was good around the time of the alt-country era, but is now just as bad as everything else.

The Beatles suck.

I think I suffer from PTBS Post traumatic Beatles syndrome.

Back in the day Beatles songs were always on the radio and we were told they were all fantastic.

If I did a 90s list, Radiohead would for sure be on it, but they weren’t Top 40:

I wasn’t on this planet at that time but I can say I’ve heard “Louie Louie” it’s a frat house standard, yelled drunkenly. “Dominique” by the singing Nun? Could she fly, too? Is that the one that has the stupid lyrics, Dominiquey-neekie-noo? No thanks. Pass.

There is a popular type of music now, I call it “the whispering metrosexual” and I just can’t stand it. Music from men these days is just so gay.

"I'm a liddle unsteadee-eeeee!" /gag

“Beatles Channel for an extended period”

If I listened to any radio that only played one artist and their music, I’d probably end up smashing the radio within 2 hours, max.

I used to listen to the Us album from start to finish. And recently rediscovered it a few years back.

“Probably the worst hit song ever.”

You’re just being contrarian.

On the other hand, the Singing Nun did end up going lesbian and committing suicide with her sig other, so....

So says the generation that watched Liberace on TV and didn’t think he was gay, listened to Queen and Elton John and didn’t think they were gay, the 70’s with the big hair bands wearing Liberace sequined crap so tight you could see what they ate for breakfast? Nope, not gay, not gay at all, lol.

Who is the “we” in the title? I’d rather puncture my ears with a hacksaw blade than listen to any of that aural poison. If they played those tunes for the milk cows, they’d squirt cottage cheese.

In case you didn’t know the Beatles had other songs. They also had several different sounds over the years. And then individual hits on their own.

Now the “Shitty Beatles” - They suck.
