He doesn't need to, just like Obama. When the liberal leftists need a candidate, they find one that has f***ing charisma and prep him/her to run. It's really that simple.

It was an interesting scene in the movie.
It was 1965 during Dylan’s UK tour.
The guy was backstage complaining to Dylan that no one would hire him to perform, the guy’s implication being that his music was too advanced, or too cerebral, or something, like Dylan’s music, and yet Dylan got all this fame and fortune, but this guy couldn’t get a gig.
And Dylan was clearly skeptical, although he didn’t come right out and say it (Dylan is a very elliptical talker), but saying “Why do you think that is,” implied that maybe no one would hire him because the guy simply wasn’t very good.
Which applies to the AP courses.

We had Special Interest classes in the late 1960s. Same thing as AP. I remember one time looking around the room and seeing all the super smart kids. So I kne I was,in an AP class. I knew I wouldn’t have the highest grades in there. LOL.
I think I follow you. AP students are so smart, that they probably wouldn’t be hired for music gigs as, say, rappers or tejano players. But while they take some mastery of skill, you don’t have to be an AP student to swing those gigs. Just know your musical craft well enough. Bob Dylan being the obvious exception.

I was thinking in terms of the parallel being, someone doesn’t get a job (music gig or into an AP course), and blames it on some factor other than ability or competence, i.e., the music is supposedly above the head of the audience in the Dylan example, or racism in the AP example.
When actually, it’s just that the person can’t cut it.
He can repeat democrat talking points if fed them directly and ear pieces are in place.
I seriously doubt his school is 25% black in Fla. Got pic today of my granddaughters 2nd grade fla. class. 18 students: 5 white, 3 black, and the rest Hispanic. Maybe not typical, but more in line with most Fla.

Probaly doesnt. I am willing to be hes a flunky, barley hanging on in school.Probably only needs 1 or 2 credits to finish because he has failed so often to get where he is, nowhere.

AP classes existed for my daughter. I kept her out except for English. She didn’t need the pressure or the silliness
Looked it up. His school is 12% black. Almost everything out of his mouth is either an exaggeration or a lie.
I love it! I knew the March For Our Lives morons would eventually get taken over by LGBT types, or some other stupid cause. Didn’t think it would happen so fast!! Now their fight is about blacks in AP classes.
