In the midst of wrapping up a media tour hawking his latest book and on the heels of what he considers – because of the election of Donald Trump – the ‘worst time’ of his 35 years in the United States, Univision anchor Jorge Ramos now says he’s pining to return to Mexico.
In an extensive interview with Spanish-language television personality Jaime Bayly, Ramos, who turned 60 this month, confessed he would like to live in Mexico again, at least “for a while.” “I would like to return to the country I left,” Ramos said with evident nostalgia, calling his desire to return to his homeland “a pending assignment.”
Bayly also singularly succeeded in both confronting – and getting the Univision anchor to admit – that the type of journalism Ramos practices includes activism, specifically when it comes to U.S. immigration policy.

Saw him on Tucker recently. Was amazed he admitted to voting in both US and Mexican elections. Can you do that after taking the oath of citizenship?

This lack of assimilation is what most bothers me.
Yes, the import of proto-Marxists who, via affirmative action are given not only immediate standing over most native Americans, but also tend to vote against the American way, while costing the American taxpayer huge subsidies on almost every level is simply galling. They are actually higher in criminality and welfare dependence with each generation in the US.
For whatever reason, their IQs put them about a standard deviation below our national average for multiple generations as well, which makes for a strong predictor of such social dysfunction—whereas DACAs, for example, returned to home, would be at the IQ average, but with a significant educational advantage over their compatriots—and thus presumably in a position to help elevate, as opposed to drag down, their home countries.

I hear ya, but it is tough when the pols and policy wonks putatively on our side keep trying to, for example, get to the left of the Dems on DACA.
