Can’t imagine the power a 3.0 would make.My 2.0 pulls almost as hard as my Duster with a 408 in it.
Sounds to me, someone who wants a new car, or two, could pretty easily take one of these puppies.. would likely be years before they even realized it had been stolen.

Yeah, they pull hard. That’s the diesel BMEP working for you which BTW, VW TDIs have some of the highest BMEPs ever recorded.

SO the fix didn’t hurt it? And do you know if that fix will work on CA/NY vehicles? (NY adopted the CA standards in 2004..)
It’s getting close to replacement time for my ‘97 with almost a half-million miles on it. The injector pump is leaking and the availability for the AHU engine is getting scarce...
