Special counsel Robert Mueller has asked questions about the work of a private consulting firm that has undertaken projects for the United Arab Emirates, according to people familiar with the investigation, suggesting his probe is looking more deeply at foreign influence in Washington.
The questions by Mr. Mueller’s team concern a private consulting firm, Wikistrat, as well as two of its co-founders, Joel Zamel and Daniel Green.
Wikistrat—which was founded in Israel in 2010 and today is based in Washington, D. C.—bills itself as a crowdsourced consulting firm that draws on a large network of experts to help analyze geopolitical problems on behalf of corporate clients and governments.
Marc Mukasey, a lawyer for Messrs. Zamel and Green and Wikistrat, said that his clients aren’t a focus of the probe.

I don’t think that would cover him, specifically with the role his former Chief of Staff and Senior Council John Carlin in the Michael Flynn debacle.
But I don’t think anyone is going to push it, even if it didn’t.
I am not as down on Sessions as some people, simply because I think he made a big mistake recusing himself right off the bat, but people advising him should have helped him avoid that mistake, IMO. That was done for political reasons more than ethical ones, but it has caused damage.
Hell, I have had as much fun as anyone with the “That wouldn’t have happened if Jeff Sessions were alive” meme, but I believe he is a principled and smart guy and not in someone’s pocket, and all the damage done with his recusal makes it hard to see.
But that is just me. I understand others feel differently.
Muellers investigation is all about creating jobs for unemployed Clinton supporters.
You know, my neighbor has been kind of trespassing onto my property a lot lately. Could Meuller take some time to investigate what’s up with that while he’s at it?

Don’t forget the Dutch. Big players in election collusion. I think they used chocolate or hot cocoa to influence the election. After spending about $42M dollars, Mueller bagged some Dutch guy for a process crime and got him 30 days in jail. Tax payer money well spent! Another $500M or so and I’m sure Mueller can find all the crimes on the planet even tangentially related to the election.
