Amazon is refusing to accept advertising for a pro-Trump bestselling book because it carries a picture of the President on its cover.
The internet commerce giant founded by billionaire Jeff Bezos also owns The Washington Post. He has been a recent target of President Trumps tweets for biased press coverage and getting postal benefits for Amazon at the expense of other retailers.
Amazon told publisher Humanix Books by email this week that its ads promoting "Killing the Deep State: The Fight to Save President Trump" were "rejected because of the political content."
The book by New York Times bestselling author Jerome Corsi describes "deep state" efforts at agencies like the FBI, Department of Justice and NSA aimed at destroying Trump's presidency.
Soon after release, "Killing the Deep State" soared on bestseller lists and hit the No. 1 spot on Amazon's own coveted rankings in several categories.
"Technically, our policies say you cannot advertise anything related to a'political candidate, political party or issue related ads," an Amazon representative emailed the distributor for Humanix, which is a subsidiary of Newsmax Media.
"With Trump on the cover you may continue to get rejected across Amazon Marketing Services according to our policies, this book is not allowed to be advertised."
But Amazon did not explain why it is currently running ads from other publishers that promote Trump-related books, including ones critical of the President such as "Russian Roulette" by Michael Isikoff and David Corn, "Fire and Fury" by Michael Wolff and "Trumpocracy" by David Frum.

This time shame on Bezos.
Amazon is letting their politics bleed into their business. This will not end well for Amazon. Just look at Hollywood movie theaters. They are like ghost towns...
We need alternatives that don't censor, spy on us etc.
Yup. If they think they can dis Trump supporters, they are in for a big surprise among their customer base.
I think Mr. Corsi has recently been booted off of Twitter as well. That was a few weeks ago. Maybe things have changed by now. This will only fuel curiosity for the book.
“The Book Amazon does not want you to read!!”
They are still carrying the Book for sale.
Deep State Globalistss don't want people reading this book!
The one type of speech that is protected. Political speech. Amazon is a private company but in business with the government owned post office. And they’re selectively deciding which free speech to kill. Would that make them guilty of violating the Constitution?
Just this afternoon I thought I needed to skip this month’s prime auto subscription order because I already have enough of my usual items. . .now I know I will.
Rosanne Barr should do an episode about Amazon .
Coupled with a Trump tweet storm.
Bezos the butthurt billionaire.
Yet they have a Hillary Clinton Page.

You’d probably need an entire OS to stop what is inevitable.
In 3-5 yrs, my guess..technology moves fast, they will make it look like we do not exist.
Deep State not pleased...
The only entity that can violate the 1st amendment is Congress. Read it again.

Political content?? I bought my copies of The Communist Manifesto, Nudge, and Rules for Radicals on Amazon. They weren’t too political.
We need realistic alternatives for Amazon, YouTube, etc.
