There’s a huge surge of paganism happening with young people who are saying Christianity is what has caused the decline of the West because of its tolerant theme in bringing all nations together. How did that work out? They feel displaced and resentful after having conservative values.

I can understand your frustration; we see the wicked prosper, and the good harmed. But there is more to life than the brief span of years on this earth; we have eternity before us, and that is infinitely more important than our lives on earth. The unrepentant wicked will pay for their sins throughout all eternity, and believers will be rewarded. But on a practical level, what is the purpose of our being Christians? “Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.” James 1:27. We were created to glorify God. If we believers followed Christ, would everything be rosy for us? No; we would be persecuted. But the lives we live for Christ, following Him closely, would impact others for the good, and bring others into relationship with Christ, thereby insuring them of eternal reward. I don’t know your age, but there was a time, in our country, when the majority were believers, and life was not so mean. There was still evil here, but it was not so widespread. I can blame the condition of the world today on the works of the devil, but I also must blame myself and other Christians, who have not followed the LORD as closely as we should. There will always be evil in the world, until Jesus comes back and casts the devil in the bottomless pit, but I am convinced, that if we Christians had lived the lives Christ demands that believers live, there would be less evil in our country. The doors which we opened, which seemingly were pleasant, were traps, and we are reaping the consequences of our foolishness and lack of vigilance.
