The House needs a more qualified person. Someone who is smart, brave, capable of negotiating, more eager to win than settle, someone who could care less what the Left thinks of him personally. Does that person exist in Congress today?

But, but, but.....it's his turn! Politicians hang around and move up the ladder because they have prayed at the alter of political process. A real person who is faithful to our Country and Constitution is not qualified because they don't respect the political process! (end sarc)

That is how we got Bob Dole and John McCain as presidential contenders even though they were guaranteed losers.

You mean Ryan owns the office?
He can give it to whom he wants?

Well, Boehner was being forced out as Americans got sick of his garbage but he made sure his legacy lived on by forcing Ryan down our throats.

The political process has taken over at every level of government so the true benefit to our Country has no weight in who has what position. It is all about seniority and power.

A good friend of mine was a Delegate here in Virginia and for the two terms he held office he was not allowed to recommend bills nor have a say in anything because he was junior, and the head of the Republicans flat out told him he was not allowed to do anything. Their long-established process was all that mattered.

My friend quit.

I RAT RYAN endorsed him, I say we get a rope.
I am a Native Californian, and I can say with a great deal of assurance that a California Republican is not even as conservative as an old Blue Dog Democrat.

If Ryan endorses him, avoid him!

Well that just tells a person in that state who not to vote for. Find the person whocsuppoets our POTUS to the core and vote him or her in.

Hmmm...I get the same feeling as when one of the President's judicial nominees gets a substantial demoncrat vote of support...

In my decrepit olde mind, if Ryano supports him he is a veritable Trojan horse for Ryano's progressive bent...
