On the TX board, someone mentioned it might be practice for Barbara Bush’s funeral fly over tomorrow. I’ve been to funerals where they had those but, I tell you what, if that’s what it was then it’s sure to raise the dead. Not joke. An hour later and my hands and arms are still weak from shaking.
We used to live smack dab on the edge of Ft. Hood and never heard such. Also, lived near Dyess AFB. Used to travel a lot for work and apparently was on the same time schedule as some B-52s (?). A couple would fly low and slow but super quiet over me the same day every week along the same spot in the road. Massive babies.
Saw the space shutter being flown in at Dyess piggy backed onto a plane. It’s little and was so dirty with soot. Still pretty amazing. Algore hadn’t invented the super highway back then so had never seen pictures of it in that condition.
But, they do flyovers, at A&M, over Kyle Field, all of the time, so I don't know why they'd be rehearsing.

HPD Chief Art Acevedo held a news conference Thursday about the city’s security measures, and confirmed that notable attendees will include first lady Melania Trump, former president and first lady Barack and Michelle Obama and former president and first lady Bill and Hillary Clinton.
Former President Jimmy Carter and his wife Rosalynn Carter are not expected to attend for medical reasons. President Donald Trump also is not expected to show...

H.W. Bush was in the Navy but we don’t have a naval base nearby. W. flew Convair F-102s in the Texas Air National Guard out of Ellington in Houston but that’s not them. Looking around, maybe those planes were A-10s, aka Wart Hogs, but not sure. Something along those lines though. Anyone know if they’re loud? A-10s supposedly are air force so that would be Lackland AFB in San Antonio with would be convenient to either A&M and Houston.
Mr. b just came in and first thing asked about them saying they were low and what the heck.
