Hannity Responds to News He Was Michael Cohen's Client

Fox News host Sean Hannity was revealed as having been a client of President Trump's personal lawyer Michael Cohen during the latter's court hearing Monday. Cohen was appearing in a Manhattan courtroom just days after the FBI raided both his home and office as part of their criminal probe.

Hannity responded on his radio show, noting that the headline was a big nothing burger. Hannity has known Cohen for a long time and has sought his legal advice from time to time, but "not one" of those issues involved a matter between him and a third party.

Michael Cohen has never represented me in any matter. I never retained him, received an invoice, or paid legal fees. I have occasionally had brief discussions with him about legal questions about which I wanted his input and perspective.

I assumed those conversations were confidential, but to be absolutely clear they never involved any matter between me and a third-party.

In response to some wild speculation, let me make clear that I did not ask Michael Cohen to bring this proceeding on my behalf, I have no personal interest in this proceeding, and, in fact, asked that my de minimis discussions with Michael Cohen, which dealt almost exclusively about real estate, not be made a part of this proceeding.

"How did this blow up to be such a big deal?" Hannity asked.

He predicted that the media is under the impression Cohen must have done "a big settlement case" for him.

Hannity's Fox colleague Juan Williams noted on "The Five" that perhaps he should have revealed his relationship with Cohen sooner.

At today's hearing, Judge Kimba Wood told prosecutors they needed to turn over the documents they seized from Cohen's home and office to his legal team so they can determine how much of it is protected under attorney-client privilege.

She was Bill Clinton's second nominee for Attorney General but had to drop out...third choice was Janet Reno. Hillary had evidently laid down the law to Bill that the AG had to be a woman.

Curious how a Clintonista just happened to be assigned to a case designed to take down the man who beat Hillary in the election...no recusal.

I bet Hannity has hired more than one attorney in his life.

Didn't someone say Cohen is barely an attorney because he has only one client? I guess has had at least two.

Why?
Disclose to who exactly? Juan Williams?
When did it become a crime to have a lawyer, any lawyer?

Amendment 4 The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Comey obviously doesn’t give a sh*t, nor does the judge who signed the warrant.

What part of that was violated? We know there was a warrant. We haven't seen the affidavit supporting it, but Cohen's lawsuit didn't challenge the existence of probable cause or claim that the FBI seized things not listed in the warrant.

Non disclosure for what?
I have two lawyers as at right now, and when did it become you or anyone’s business who my lawyer is?
Is this America or Stalinist Russia?
Donald Trump should pardon very single person convicted for ANYTHING through the lawless Mueller jihadis.

You said Hannity was connected to this case.

It is considered good ethics for a reporter to say when they are connected to a case. - redgolum

I asked you what connection Hannity had to this case.
Stop deflecting and answer my question.

Is that a fact?

Cohen attorneys say feds seized devices that have 'nothing to do' with warrant, rip 'unprecedented'

“Juan Williams noted on “The Five” that perhaps he should have revealed his relationship with Cohen sooner.”

Hey, Juan: why haven’t you been upfront earlier and made full disclosure that you were repeatedly dropped on your head as a baby? If you had ‘fessed up, folks might cut you some slack for being such an idiot.

He met with the lawyer, and then talked about the lawyer being raised. He should have stated that he had talked with the lawyer. If Hannity had, this would not be an issue.

I have family in the news business. You are supposed to state any personal connection to your case. Granted it is followed more in the breach than the observation these days.

It was discovered that Woods had an illegal immigrant nanny before it was illegal, and paid the employment taxes. Her nomination was withdrawn after the Clinton administration leaked information about her having been a table dancer in response to discovering that while liberal, she wasn’t a nut.

Zoe Baird, was the one with an illegal any she didn’t pay taxes on.

Seems to me that Cohen is a confidential source for Sean’s reporting. Yet another common law privilege the leftist courts and media will eventually ignore.

All this BS about Sean’s lack of disclosure is another example of the Alinsky Left tying to make right obey a set of rules they refuse to live by.

Kimba Wood knows that she was selected by Hillary to be AG. That type of selection for high office creates a life long loyalty. Just ask Sarah P. who still refuses to criticize McCain. Wood obviously is biased and should have stepped down.

How many conflicts have we seen on the Deep State side during all this? How many Deep State recusals have there been? Meanwhile Sessions almost broke his neck recusing over nothing.

Sean is a reporter. He doesn’t have to make disclaimers based on his sources. Dershowitz and Williams can cry me a river.
