It’s very important. It’s part of the public acclimation process to indictments that are coming. You cannot just do this out of the blue.
It’s as much a political process as it has ever been a legal process.
I understand the need to prepare the public for filing criminal charges against an entire federal administration. The screaming and snarling of these same crooks is doing more to bring them under indictment than any effort to dribble their crimes before the public.

It’s a damn shame Congress has to do DoJ’s investigative work and now they expect the agency that housed the crooks to prosecute themselves. Give me a break! No request for an independent counsel and don’t tell me the Huber is independent? He knows who butters his bread. What can be expected of a referral to a conflicted agency that housed all the crooks in the first place? Sadly, I do not see a referral enumerating the most important two charges that encapsulate the entire crooked cabal - Treason and conspiracy to commit treason.

Certainly there’s been action. Hillary and Podesta were arrested for starters. Hillary got a customized GPS ankle monitor in the form of a boot, and Podesta was spirited down to Gitmo—which we have on good authority he did not like One Bit.
Then there’s the three million sealed indictments, or whatever it’s up to now. Sure, they gave Clapper a pass, but everyone else is going DOWN—those sealed indictments say so.

He must have signed off on a different FISA application— the Comey FISA application, directly against the Trump administration, using that mythical dossier as foundation.
I think the “warrant” mentioned in the context of this letter focused on Carter Page. Rosenstein may not have been a signer on his (Page) particular warrant.
Yes— it would be very good (though surely even these congress critters would be threatened by obamaumao’s 2 blocks from the WH HQ in Kalorama, with potential BLM street riots and Anti-fa with soros money). Repeat, very good if a similar letter was directed at.... Brennan, Clapper, Rice, and ... Kerry over...the FISA warrant abuse and illegal espionage. THAT is what shuts the door the rest of the way on what is left of any of this cabal against this Republic.
