Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani announced his decision to join President Donald Trump’s legal team as the Russia investigation by Special Counsel Robert Mueller continues.
“I’m doing it because I hope we can negotiate an end to this for the good of the country and because I have high regard for the president and for Bob Mueller,” Giuliani said in an interview with the Washington Post.
Counsel to the President Jay Sekulow confirmed the news in a statement to reporters.
“I have had the privilege of working with Mayor Giuliani for many years, and we welcome his expertise,” he said.
The former New York City mayor, who was a key Trump supporter, during the 2016 election will leave his law firm Greenberg Traurig to join the president’s legal team.
“Rudy is great,” Trump said in the statement. “He has been my friend for a long timeand wants to get this matter quickly resolved for the good of the country.”

Not good enough. How is that any deal at all? Justice only for the little people. They need to make an example out of her for the sheer sake that this is corrupt and anyone else would be doing multiple life sentences.
I just watched the video and listened to her speech. You are correct, she does in way suggest to take the second amendment away.

I’ll tell you though, one thing is gnawing at me. It seems a little unlikely that Rudy would go public in this role if there weren’t the framework for a deal agreed to in advance.

No doubt Rudy has reached agreement with Trump on the broad outline of an acceptab outcome re Mueller and has negotiated for the requisite authority.
Considering just the Mueller aspect, IMO Mueller will be very lucky if he has enough to offset his personal legal exposure let alone that of Hillary, Barry and the many others.
The past few years have increasingly revealed enormous failures and illegal activities at the highest levels of our government. Most were of a scandalous nature while the rest was simple criminal behavior.
The public will be fortunate, indeed, if each event is properly addressed and the actors face the same justice lesser folks have suffered.

The ultimate irony would be Clinton indicted and convicted, then Trump pardoning her. That could very well happen.
