I like that idea too, but we have not had any luck in the last 50 years trying to get the U.S. Government to deport any significant population of people. They mostly just deport the people who have already commuted a crime due to a lack of interior enforcement. A bias that only makes the problem much worse for theses countries.

Option 1 is only practical if we are a lot more successful in the next few years than we have been in the last 50 years, we don’t have anther 50 years to motivate our politicians. If theses counties are not already effectively run by the cartels they will be in the not so distant future by default.

Thus realistically theses will become criminal states who’s policies and territory will be used to serve their respective criminal enterprises.

If we want them to be nice places to live with the rule of law options 1 or 2 will have to be eventually implemented.

These countries will not fix their own problem if its easier for the majority of the population to simply leave, exporting with their people a large share of the same problem to us.
