Dem Congresswoman Rips DNC Lawsuit Against Trump Campaign: ‘I’m Not Very Supportive Of It’

Democratic Rep. Jackie Speier (Calif.) told CNN's Wolf Blitzer Friday the Democratic National Committee's new lawsuit against the Donald Trump campaign, the Russian government, and WikiLeaks is "ill-conceived."

Blitzer started his interview by asking whether the lawsuit lends credence to the idea that the Russia investigation is sour grapes from the Democratic Party.

"I think this lawsuit is ill-conceived," Speier said. "And I'm not very supportive of it."

"I'm not interested in a political tit for tat, I'm interested in getting to the truth and if there's criminal conduct that's been engaged in, holding people accountable," she continued.

When Blitzer asked if she thought it was a "big mistake" that DNC chair Tom Perez was filing this lawsuit, Speier said, "I'm not supportive of it, whether it is a mistake or not, we'll soon find out."

Speier went on to say that information currently in the public domain, which is what the lawsuit is based on, is not enough to conclude any kind of conspiracy.

"Do you think this lawsuit runs the risk of stepping on Robert Mueller's investigation?" Blitzer asked.

Speier doubted that possibility and said, "I don't think that the DNC has been able to do anything more than speculate based on the statements and their complaint."

Sounds like she is afraid of what may be found since that opens the DNC up to discovery.

I bet the lawsuit gets dropped at some point before anything real begins. It was just a publicity stunt to recycle the “Russian collusion” story in the news all over again as something new.

Well, McCabe raised a whole lot of money for his legal fees... I have read the DNC is cash strapped ... will the DNC set up a ‘GoFundMe’ account for fund raising to finally finish off that devil Trump?

Ill conceived is right. Do they really want to air their dirty laundry?! A special counsel is need to investigate the Democrats, Hillary, DSW, her Pakistani IT guys, leaks, murders, and the DOJ/FBI coverup. Bet they won’t like that. Only thing saving them is that Sessions is incompetent and asleep.

You don’t know whether Sessions is asleep 20 hours a day or just 16.

There has been a fair amount of speculation that this court-run is about getting financial backers to come back to the DNC and pump up the general fund. As long as the potential exists....I think they will continue the ‘gimmick’. Once the court activity would start up...I think the whole show will have to conclude.

Imagine Wikileaks getting into a court, and laying down the card that Rich was their insider, and having that on a court record.

My cats sleep an average of 21 hours per day and seem to be more active than Sessions.

Yeah, right.

Since when has any Democrat been interested in getting to 'the truth'?

So all we hear these days is the demodummies are pushing a lawsuit and, are broke. Seems Hiltary tried that too and it was another lie. Nothing but another diversionary tactic designed to encourage donations to their pathetic cause,

There’s no explanation I have even heard yet as to how someone could hack the machines and spam votes on Election day. Nada.

The suit names wikileaks along with Trump Campaign and Russia.

Wikileaks published material that showed up Hillary and the Dems.

The HACK spoken of was the HACK of the DNC computer system from which (allegedly, supposedly) the info later published by wikileaks was obtained.

A bunch of dumbos in the media and Dem party want the world to believe that it was Russia that hacked the Dems and gave the results to wikileaks.

Truth be told, wikileaks’ Julian Assange has ALWAYS denied that Russia was their source. It was an inside source that leaked to wikileaks, according to him and also Hannity.

My point is, I don’t think the HACK mentioned in this lawsuit is about hacking voting systems. It’s about hacking the Dems system and publishing the damaging material via wikileaks. But the Dems are claiming that hack was via Russia.

I know it’s confusing. But of course it’s confusing. The Dems are crazed, as are their twins in the Lamestream Media.

I have little doubt at this point that someone inside the Democrat Party spilled information to wikileaks.

Down deep, she is actually supportive.

America doesn’t count.

Party loyalty is all that counts
