In His Interview With Bret Baier, James Comey’s Lies and Evasions Were Stunning

I heard a guy (I cannot remember whether it was on Rush or FoxNews) claim that he goes to the same church as the Comeys. Every Sunday, the Comeys plant themselves in a pew at the very front of the church, making it difficult for those in the several rows behind them to see anything, as all the Comey’s are pretty tall. James Comey is a complete buffoon, puffed up by his own self-importance. He should be embarrassed by the Baier interview, but I am sure he is not. He doesn’t know that the dossier was paid for by the DNC and the Clinton campaign? He says that has only been reported in the news but not verified yet? I want him on TV as often as possible, so Americans can see how degraded our Intellgience/Law agencies have become under the previous 3 Admins.

I watched the Comey “interview” on Fox today.

I am certain the only reason he agreed to go on Fox is that Fox agreed to give him the questions in advance. Bret Baier rattled off questions, and Comey fired back pre-rehearsed weasel-worded answers, too quickly to believe he didn’t know what was going to be asked. He even jumped the gun and started answering a question before Baier asked it. Comey also looked down at notes very quickly, like they had been scrolled to the precise spot on his monitor.

Fox also had taped highlights cued up at the proper times, and Comey was immediately familiar with the clips, and yes, quickly fired back answers that sounded like they were written by his lawyer. He used lots of “to my recollection” caveats, and vague date ranges to muddy the waters.

Baier also held up Comey’s book up twice while announcing its title, and used the same phrase to describe the book as a huge success, like he was given the line to parrot as another condition of the interview.

Even with all that help, Comey still came off as an arrogant prick that was lying his ass off to save his own skin.

He’s bad at covering up and stupid to be out there trying, but his claims to know nothing (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmzsWxPLIOo) are an act. He is grotesquely criminal like the rest of them.

How could anyone as dumb and incompetent as James Comey ever become the FBI Director?

In DC you are promoted based on your level of corruption, your resulting blackmailability, and your willingness to take orders from those more corrupt than you.

Eventually we need someone who’s actually involved in the law enforcement business to be the director of the FBI. Instead we see an endless parade of us attorneys and prosecutors. A lawyer isn’t a cop any more than a cop as a lawyer.

Comey should read his former employer's employment agreement.

FBI Employment Agreement (FD-291 (Rev. 9-15-2015))

I am tired of this 3D or 4D chess game.
Anyone else outside of Washington would have been arrested by now.

Went back to university in 2004. Agree emphatically. Government apparatchiks removed from real-world consequences.
