RedState had some truly deranged nutjobs. One blamed the anti-immigration movement for China’s one-child policy. Really.
Salem, through Townhall, Medved and Hewitt have been a Cheap Labor Express propaganda organ for at least a decade.
I hope this signals that they have switched sides, but I have my doubts.
There was a time when RedState matched NRO’s US Alexa rank in the 1,000+ range. It’s now 4,000+, going on 5,000. https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/redstate.com Its hoity-toity stance re comments can’t have helped. The other Townhall sites are open to comment from anyone, whereas you have to be a member of RedState to comment there, and they don’t seem to be accepting new members.
Free Republic has also plummeted to the 4,000+ range, from the the 1,000+ US Alexa rank. https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/freerepublic.com That may be partly the result of purges of Trump critics, as longtime members bailed, and lurkers followed.
hmmmmm... Lady Bender just informed me she dumped Red State & Plitico a couple of months ago because there were too many Trump Bashers on them. I see a bit of that here on Freer Republic most days...
I said it elsewhere, you could register over there to comment and you’d never hear from them again. Their comments were an echo-chamber and some of their articles were very amateurish. Maybe 5 years ago, they had some pertinent articles.

I have no problem with passionate debate during the primaries. When people like Eric “the Buffoon” Erickson and those at Red State attempted to undermined Trump and elect Hillary. they went far over a line that can not be walked back. That they continue to daily try to undermine Trump they now crossed the line from “disagreement” to political treason.
Erickson, and others supposed “Conservatives”, who out of nothing more then petulance, ego and childish spite, are actively providing political PR for enemies of everything Conservatives are suppose to stand for have earned no quarter from Conservatives. Never Trumpers are no longer a “friend an ally” who we disagree with but are now active enemies that needs to be defeated and politically destroyed
