Gee, did ever dawn on those "educators" to teach the students how to read them?

I don’t suppose that actually teaching them to read them ever crossed their minds...

Gee, did ever dawn on those "educators" to teach the students how to read them? A radical idea you've got there. Nobody's got time for that.

It literally takes less than when the fast hand makes one loop, to teach a kid to read a clock.

Most expensive designer watches are analog not digital, of course watches are more of an accessory statement than actually used for time. Same with decorative clocks for living room areas...all analog. I guess these kids are just dumb?
To: caww
Now the kids will be buying Rolex’s and not knowing how to read them.

So will the UK demand all cars have digital gauges?

You’d be surprised to learn that the majority of pupils prefer to remain ignorant.

It amazes me that the kids couldn’t be taught something as simple as this.
When I was a kid many clocks still had Roman Numerals-—so we were taught Roman numerals——simple.

"...kids cant tell time..."
Yeah, it is from azzhole Jimmy Kimmel, yet illustrates the point about kids *not* learning how to use clocks:

Maybe I am wrong, but I don’t really think it’s a big deal. How many of you would need a sextant to drive across the country? There are some technologies that will eventually fade away, and even though I LOVE my analog watches, there are bigger fish to fry than to fret over kids that can’t read analog clocks.
To: GingisK
So we should close libraries and remove books because kids can't read?
Pupils prefer to remain ignorant only insofar as society caters to ignorance.
