Trump can fire them at any time that he wants to. Myers V. United States. He doesn’t have to ask anyone’s permission nor opinion. The fact that he doesn’t speaks louder than all the rumors and gossip we constantly hear.

Why would you want to wait until after the election? For crap’s sake, these guys, left around until the election may well sink the Trump Presidency with a RAT takeover of the House. And we should be shouting at Ryan and his band of GOPE pricks that the House Freedom Caucus is going to roll over them if they don’t start supporting the President, starting with Jim Jordan for Speaker. Jeff Sessions pretends to play stupid. Unless he has Alzheimer's disease, he can't really be so stupid as to not see the maelstrom around him.
I like the “up to his scuppers” part myself. Not sure what it means, but it sounds serious. Like Reagan with his “keister” comment.
