2. You betcha that it is not fair - it is grossly UNfair. But that is what happens when we let liberals, socialists and other assorted Leftists make the rules. The whole of “Affirmative Action” (A.K.A. “quotas” in English) is manifestly unfair to every single person who is was SUPPOSEDLY intended to benefit. The reality is, IMHO, that AA is just another means of keeping the blacks “on the plantation” by having everyone (even them) questioning their value or qualifications.

AA is directly contrary to King’s dream. He would have been aghast at the prospect, let alone the reality. That, IMHO, is one of the most tragic results of his assassination - that he wasn’t there to fight AGAINST AA/quotas. He, and perhaps ONLY he, could have killed that particularly horrible idea in its crib...now we are stuck with it, and its practical results, for decades to come (if not forever).
The irony is that AA didn’t help minorities, it INCREASED racism.
