On Tuesday, James Clapper, the former Director of National Intelligence, went on "The View" -- weird, right? -- to talk about President Donald Trump and the intelligence community.
During that interview, this exchange happened between Clapper and co-host Joy Behar:
BEHAR: "So I ask you, was the FBI spying on Trump's campaign?"
CLAPPER: "No, they were not. They were spying on, a term I don't particularly like, but on what the Russians were doing. Trying to understand were the Russians infiltrating, trying to gain access, trying to gain leverage or influence which is what they do."
BEHAR: "Well, why doesn't [Trump] like that? He should be happy."
CLAPPER: "He should be."
Seems pretty straightforward, right? Clapper makes crystal clear that the FBI was not spying on the Trump campaign. And he also makes clear that while he doesn't like the word "spying" -- because we are talking about the use of a confidential source -- that, to the extent there was any information gathering happening in conversations between the FBI's informant and members of the Trump campaign, it was entirely designed to shed light on Russian meddling efforts related to the 2016 election.
In the hands of Trump, however, Clapper's words have become anything but straightforward.

Early Wednesday morning, Trump tweeted this about the Clapper interview:
"'Trump should be happy that the FBI was SPYING on his campaign' No, James Clapper, I am not happy. Spying on a campaign would be illegal, and a scandal to boot!"
Then, answering reporters' question on Wednesday afternoon, Trump said this: "I mean if you look at Clapper ... he sort of admitted that they had spies in the campaign yesterday inadvertently. I hope it's not true, but it looks like it is."
NO. HE. DIDN'T.
Uh, yes he did!
Clapper did the exact opposite of what Trump is saying he did. Literally. Clapper said that the FBI didn't spy on the Trump campaign.
Lizard-boy then adds this:
The intellectual dishonesty here is almost beyond calculation.

CNN is doing word contortions as good as any biased Left Wing activist would, but I guess that is what you would expect from a Left Wing activist media outlet losing audience share because they cannot hide their hatred for Trump.

Don’t believe these Lying Leftist Media outlets that proved themselves during the 2016 campaign to be operatives of the DNC and intentional liars. They are presumed to be lying and we should presume what they publish is a lie. The presumption can only be rebutted with the outlet providing clear and convincing evidence they are not lying.
Why not post the TRUTH about the lies? You don't have to use the liar as the source to post a headline that alerts readers to a published lie. Use yourself as the source or a reasonably reliable source that addresses what the Lying Leftist source is saying. That way you have a headline and a source that your readers can reasonably rely on and they go away more informed about the lie AND the truth.
If this story is true and has some redeeming value, at least get the story from a reasonably reliable source, not from a known Lying Leftist operative posing as a “news” organization. You’ve done the Patriotic Right a service. Much better than the mindless repetition of lying sources and their lying headlines.
If we’re told a lie, don’t repeat it. Neutralize the lie by speaking the truth. Lies aren’t defeated by repeating the lie. Lies are defeated by repeating the truth. We should have our eyes on the prize - in this case, politically, what it takes to recover our Free Constitutional Republic. That should be what we major on and focus on.
IMO, if a poster can't be bothered to do that, then they shouldn't post. If they're going to be bothered to post, do it right. We're on a mission here.
If Clapper was trying to gather intelligence about Russia interfering with our election process, he would’ve told Trump what he was doing and why, also he would’ve asked for Trump’s assistance...

did they plant people inside Hilarie’s campaign? or for that matter lift a finger to understand Clinton Foundation and nefarious efforts to gain influence? thats would seem to be a ripe place for informants.....

No one in the MSM has asked why, if this was known to be an external Russian initiative, Trunp wasn’t told, and why Mueller keeps investigating Trump as if it was Trumps idea to collude with Russia.
Can’t have it both ways.
Remember when Bush put spies in Obama’s campaign- to make sure the Russians weren’t “interfering”? Me neither.
But I am glad to see that the liberals are OK with this.
I am sure they won’t mind, then, if Trump packs all the DNC meetings with spies too- just to make sure Russia is not interfering.
I listened to Mad Cow a bit last night. Same thing, they hear words but construe them completely differently. They sound incredibly hollow when they say things like this. They can’t really be as dumb as they sound. I used to call them Libtards, but these are smart people. They are LibNazi’s. Or why they didn't provide this same protection to Hillary who may have been more susceptible given the donations from Russia and other foreign governments to her "foundation".
