So, my group of guys, Trumpsters all, would be organized but selected folks like my friend would be left alone as long as they "stayed out of it".

That's not generally how war works. In war, he is killed first. Then they kill you next.

I agree that an “all out war” like our Civil War could get to where brother was killing brother.

I’m not attempting to address that. I’m saying that at least “initially”, and in our area, a couple things would happen. Arguably some very unorganized talk about it already occurs all the time.

I’m saying that in a case where the feds are running wild and kicking down doors to confiscate all guns, there would soon develop a situation like the following:

1. Selective roads would be barricaded and manned by armed men. Routine traffic would be allowed through.

2. Any movement of large numbers of feds would then be detected and responses would be implemented.

Somewhat of a similar scenario happened in the Bundy Ranch caper the feds clownishly attempted.

I don’t see anything like this in my lifetime and now that we have a Supreme Court shaping up to protect the 2nd Amendment for decades to come maybe never. Hopefully.

But, the 2nd Amendment, and confiscating guns, would trigger major violence, in my opinion.

Where would we be right now if hilary was elected?

You can call people "stupid" and "ignorant" all you want. I clearly told you why this is not 1860, but you refuse to listen.

Have a nice life.

I think “knowing” and “intelligent” people would say that “Lefty Gomez” would now be on the Supreme Court tilting it hard left and the 2nd Ammendment would be on the chopping block awaiting the ax to fall!

In my mind, that would lead to a break up of the 50 states. Heck, California is already trying hard to secede. Arguably, we’ve got one foot in the door of breakup already.
