If you turn in your phone, you probably won’t be able to make a recording of your testimony. That makes it much easier to edit/doctor your testimony to fit whatever narrative they’re looking for.
If it’s a government phone, that’s fine. If it’s a personal phone, I’d give it to them turned off after updating it with an even more diabolical passphrase than it already has.

No, but he is moving at light speed, and an adjournment of even 60 days before even a 1st hearing on a cell phone subpoena (which you can then also file to oppose, pro-se) could take you FAR off his radar screen by then time he's moved on to his next desperate hail mary play

You do not understand just how long a smart and resourceful Pro Se can tie up an opposing party, government agency, and even the courts by using strategies that are perfectly legal, but cause the other party so much money, time and effort that they can lose interest or motivation.
I’ve done it often enough, I can get the messages that across to people who think a threat of a lawsuit might intimidate me, especially companies who refuse to honor a warantee or attempt to collect a debt that is not owed. Haven’t had to do it often, but I have a way of convincing them I am not worth the effort and they would lose in the end. It’s really not that hard.

I hope judge Sullivan ties a big bow around Mueller’s neck, and hangs him from the nearest tree, on Tuesday. If, by chance, he doesn’t, Trump needs to fire Mueller and ALL his cohorts. The democrats are going to go after him anyway. Trump may as well do as much damage as he can.
Oh, I’m sure THEIRS have been “lost” whenever convenient.

My experience is that conscientious judges will only go as far as he believes he is allowed in a particular case. I think Sullivan is one of them.
I once asked a federal district judge to dismiss a civil case as the plaintiff had failed to reveal witnesses and exhibits by the deadline. Judge Alley said that as much as he wanted to do that, he was constrained by statute to do such a drastic remedy. But he got the same result by saying the plaintiff could call only witnesses, and introduce only exhibits that had been revealed. The plaintiff, on the thought of delivering an opening statement, and then resting was beside themselves. The case was dismissed. Imagine trying a case where you can not put on any evidence to the jury.
I am thinking that Judge Sullivan can require an allocution, then find that a guilty plea is not accepted by the court because of the facts. The prosecution would then have to decide whether to proceed to trial with no evidence (missing FD-302) or have their star witness (Strzok) impeached by fellow agent Pientko.
If the case with Ted Stevens is any guide, Judge Sullivan can appoint a special investigator to look at the underlying shenanigans. I seem to remember a federal District Judge in Texas requiring ethics training for USDOJ lawyers that made misrepresentations to him. That Judge also prohibited those lawyers from appearing before him until they had.
My hope is that Judge Sullivan requires Mueller to appear personally and answer for all the pleadings/motions signed by others in his name. Mueller must be forced to own the actions of his subordinates. Then the judge can lower the boom.
