DOJ Releases Shocking 2018 Illegal Alien Crime Statistics and Media is Silent

The Departments of Justice and Homeland Security have now released their 2018 quarterly reports on the arrests of illegal aliens inside the United States of America, and the statistics of those currently in federal custody pending trial or deportation are quite shocking.

The mainstream media makes an effort to depict those incarcerated by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agencies as being “Dreamers” or “innocent children,” and in reality that's the furthest thing from the truth, according to the report on the Justice Department website.

As a result of President Trump’s Executive Order on Enhancing Public Safety in the Interior of the United States, there's a specific requirement given to both the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for each government agency to collect the relevant data and provide quarterly reports on data collection efforts.

The report finds that more than one-in-five of all persons in Bureau of Prisons custody were known or suspected aliens, a shocking misuse of our prison systems and a major burden on the taxpayers of this country.

This could be avoided if a border wall were funded immediately.

The media deliberately and intentionally chose, with full knowledge, to suppress this information. They are completely irresponsible.

But if we build a wall and incarcerate those already in, who is going to mow my lawn and trim the shrubs? Who will rape my wife and children and steal all the stuff that I want to write off on insurance anyway? /S

Dems want to save one child ….

I missed something. If Dems are so weepy and sentimental about children of illegals brought into danger in semis in the heat or across ditches with snakes and gang members trying to find rape victims, then where were they when tiny lives were snuffed out by millions of abortions?

Oh, yeah, they don’t bestow rights onto aborted children. Only God does that.

The states would never ever cooperate with some sort of federal mandate that they conduct such a study. They would scream from the rooftops that such an imposition would be cruel, racist, xenophobic. But it is exactly the type of thing that Trump should demand in the wake of this Federal report as a way to get States to scream about how they are being forced to collect data on people in their prisons.

I consider it very likely that the percentages of Illegal Alien Prisoners in state prisons is similar to that in Federal prison.

I remember reading a policy paper published in a book that said that a greater percentage of prisoners in the NY penal system were illegal aliens than Black (note these are not exclusive categories) and I believe the research was done before 1994.

BOTH parties have been preventing US from enforcing the laws and borders for decades.

They serve the illegal aliens and their employers, not the citizens.

Re: “one-in-five of all persons in Bureau of Prisons custody were known or suspected aliens”

The Bureau of Prisons is a federal agency. Since immigration violations are prosecuted ONLY by the federal government, it should not be surprising that illegal aliens make up a large percentage of the federal prison population.

Re: “Just makes me want to shout #BuildTheWall”

Half the illegals in the USA arrived here legally - as tourists, students, etc. They just don't leave when their visas expire.

The most effective way to end illegal immigration is to mandate Universal E-Verify - No jobs? No illegals.

Trump could do that with an Executive Order. It would immediately be challenged in Court, of course, but it would eventually prevail, which means many people who now employ illegals would immediately start reducing their illegal head count.

Re: “What about the State prisons?”

Many states just turn over criminal aliens to the Feds.

The California “Sanctuary” state prison system has a large percentage of illegals who have been convicted on state crimes - from memory, like one third illegals.

Also, many states just release criminal aliens and give them a court date, even for violent crimes.

Here in Washington state, at least 50% of our “Ten Most Wanted” criminals consistently have Hispanic names, even though just 12% of our state population is Hispanic. Usually, they just don’t show up for trial, or they skedaddle back to Central America.

Yes. All the more reason that states should not be able to interfere with enforcement of immigration law.

“who is going to mow my lawn and trim the shrubs?”

It is all going to be done by robots. Low skill workers will be replaced by robots. Then what do you do with them. Deport, deport, deport now. Crops will be picked by a trailer with many robot arms picking the perfectly ripe items, washing them and neatly placing them in the containers ready for shipping. That trailer will be pulled by an autonomous tractor. One key to this scenario was the tax cut law and its immediate expensing of equipment. The government will be saving so much on welfare, schools and other costs that they should be subsidizing the robot acquisitions.
