Only senators vote for the majority leader. Trump has nothing to do with the decision. Each senator gets a secret vote and that is it. There is no fight with a third party such as Trump. Each Senator treasures their vote for Leader and it is a very personal vote based on relationships, contributions raised by the Leader, etc etc etc. You are sorely mistaken if you think Trump is going to fight for someone elee in an election he has zero say in.
So I repeat my question. If the senators did not replace McConnell in 2016, why would they replace him in 2018? Do some research and send an informed answer as opposed to some uninformed happy talk. Thank you. “
Mitch McConnell was saying that the Trump Campaign’s connections to Russia needed to be investigated before the Mueller Probe started. They were beginning the Russia investigating in early 2017.
The Senate had to approve the Omnibus Bill. McConnell and Ryan met with Trump to get him to sign it.
I know Trump has no say in who becomes Senate Majority Leader, but he also doesn’t have a say in the NFL.
If Trump is going to drain the swamp, then McConnell needs to be replaced moron.
