It IS disgusting. I must admit to being depressed about this country.

I have a friend who saw FIRST HAND a Federal agency supervisor make a definitive statement and motion of her hand to the effect someone should knock Trump off. Another male employee in the same facility, when it was pointed out that CNN was overdoing the anti-Trump stuff back then, said he was going out, “...it is just a process, it takes time.”

...”J. Edgar Hoover spent decades seeing to it that the FBI dedicated itself to protecting the Constitution. Then came Bush I, Clinton, Bush II and Obama who all saw the FBI as a political weapon and so we have this CYOA mess that we have today.”...

Yes, and Mr. Wray’s remarks yesterday did nothing to change any of that in my view. His “bias workshops” are an insult to Americans who know very much about this at all. Would any of us trust a young person looking to work for the FBI who does not already know that “bias” is not allowed in that arm of the government? Are they intending to hire “snowflakes?” And, while they are at it, should they not tell them that they should not steal government property, use drugs while on the job, or have sex at work? The ignorance of the post baby-boom generation in important government jobs today is stunning. Surely there must be a few who know and understand our system enough to uphold it’s principles and not to keep on the job those who are corrupting those. I hope the God I believe in will protect our President from wrong actions of those under his power, for he is a David facing a Goliath represented by Never Trumpers, Republican cowards, career politicians, an FBI we cannot trust, and powerful people in the media and among Hollywood elites. Until some of these corrupt people are in jail, I will feel upset and betrayed and I will worry for the future of this nation.

“Never fear: Mr Wray’s two hour bias class will set this all straight!?sarc”

For sure, sarc/
I watched Wray’s speech last night and thought I was going to puke. Wray basically told Congress and the American people to go f¥ck themselves. Justice and the FBI needs a serious purging, ASAP...

The press is saying there was no political bias.

What the IG said is that he couldn’t be certain that the political bias led to wrongful doings.

There is no one left with authority to stop the mueller fiasco... no one left to fire strzok .. no one left to end the most corrupt government ever in our country... AG sessions has done nothing to stop them.. he has even closed his eyes and covered for them...

There is no one left but Pres Trump.. he has the authority and so why isn’t he using it? The stink is so bad now, publicly so... that it reaches to the heavens.. for Trump to NOT do what he has authority to do, makes him seem afraid, weak, being badly advised... The evidence is out.. we are waiting for justice to appear from somewhere... and Trump is the only one... the public will side with him.. the dems are already spreading more lies every day... but the public.. the people.. do not understand why it is all still going on .. is there no one who has the guts and the authority to stop this and end the corruption that is destroying our constitution and giving hillary and obama all they want... power to continue and take over.

"Trust me when I tell you there are people at all levels of the federal government who have no issue abusing their position to further leftist political positions."

The same kind of politics (aka "office" politics) is happening in the private sector. Even if it's just a rumor or gossip going around that you're a Climate Change denier and/or Trump supporter, you are a candidate for being "voted off the island". HR will find it difficult if not impossible to support you, and like the left wing media, one of their objectives is to appear to be as politically correct as possible. They'll investigate every little detail in the hope that something actionable will be discovered in order to "justify" disciplinary action, including termination of employment. It doesn't take much for a client company to hasten the end of a contract worker's "at-will" employment. I still like the work involved in my chosen profession but I've grown to hate the business.

Don't give up people. If Trump doesn't do it we will have to clean house ourselves. This can't stand. The level of tyranny is intolerable.

“J. Edgar Hoover spent decades seeing to it that the FBI dedicated itself to protecting the Constitution.”

He spent decades building his own fiefdom, and using it to collect information on and blackmail his supposed bosses. That’s not what I call protecting the constitution.

Has Jeff Sessions been acting his entire political career just to be put into operation now?

Who else?

Very bleak, Mr. President. Looking forward to your response to the this grotesque sham.

The FBI needs to be totally revamped and there should be lots of firings of these agents if not criminal prosecutions. Above all there should be constant monitoring that the FBI is not engaging in politic activities like spying on US citizens who have committed no crime.

Mr Wray needs to go along with Rosenstein and Sessions.

Still think Sessions is working with Trump on a super secret plan to dismantle the deep state? We need to put more Trump supporters in Congress so Trump can fire Sessions. He also needs to fire Rosenstein and Wray.

You can bet there are plenty of FBI agents who have learned brick laying to build ovens in America. They would do it.

We’d better do more than resist... we’d better show our President he is the only law left in our country and we are behind him to do the firing and ending this coup attempt.

Can you imagine obama letting this go on if it was against him? or can you imagine the dems letting this go on against him? they all have been so protected in their crimes that it’s wider and deeper than ever imagined it could be in our land..

but, aside from the few brave GOPers, the republican party is too weak and used to being pushed around by the dems and the media..they do not know how to stand for the right thing and our justice dept is long dead and gone...

Trump has to step in and do what is right.. end this long and destructive coup!

Do you remember the days when bureaucracies were cleaned out when a new President or Governor came on the job? That still happens, but only in Academia, when a new Dean takes over and can bring his/her people into the institution and it is expected. The gigantic bureaucracies in Washington D.C. are the dictatorship and anyone found using bias in the day to day operations of those should be fired, no matter how many years they have put into their lucrative retirement account. If we hired a manager at our home, how would we feel if that person took over all the benefits of our resources earmarked for our children when we are gone. That is exactly what is happening to America through the power of bureaucracy. Now is the time to begin changing that. This is the day of technology and it can and should be done.

Surely there must be some non-corrupt FBI agents left who can testify to what they've seen of the cover-up.

Didn't I read on FR a few weeks ago that there are some FBI agents ( don't know how many) who are trying to work out a deal for Congress to subpoena them because they're eager to tell what they know?

Maybe someone here remembers more about this than I do.
