* Residents have stuck up for Conte and one neighbor said the kids were trying to throw a dead snake into his wife's car
A Long Island man was arrested for shoving a 12-year-old boy to the ground after he caught the child recording his wife on a cellphone.
Anderson then calls the woman a 'low life' seconds before a man charges at him shoving the boy to the ground. The man curses and smashes Anderson's cellphone on the ground as the boy yells for help.
Anderson's father, Christian, called Conte a 'coward' but residents in the area are sticking up for him.
According to neighbor Michael Shain, who lives across the street from where the incident happened, the kids were allegedly trying to throw a dead snake into the woman's car with her two kids inside.
'There's video of these kids running around with their bikes, stopping cars, getting in front of cars where they almost basically force you to hit them,' he said. 'These kid are not innocent by any means. They started it, and unfortunately, the father went to protect his wife and two small kids.'
Christian, however, says there is never a reason for an adult to put their hands on a child.
'Even if they throw a rock at the car, it doesn't justify beating up a child. It just doesn't,' he said.

i thinking that video will be played in court and Mr. Conte will have to take the stand at the civil trial and explain his criminal charges.

Puzzling issue this “low life” and other accusations, and throwing a dead snake. Is more going on or is this just kids taking brattiness to new extremes?

A spanking is not going to fix what this boy has. He has huge issues, and I would bet that the problems with his father, and his mother go far beyond neglecting to discipline him.
The problem is criminalizing everything and acting outraged in a society where outrages are tolerated, even protected, every day. It’s best not to shove a kid, but under the circumstances, arrested? This man is evil but MS-13 gang members have a “divine spark”.

I am not the officer that arrested Mr. Conte, not am I the DA that will prosecute Mr. Conte.
Let the courts sort it out.

That has been alleged, but it did not appear to occur in the immediate moment prior to Mr. Conte shoving the kid.
The teens in my neighborhood used to pick up the people across the street’s Volkswagon bug and put it on the sidewalk. My pop was home one night and saw this. He chased them. He kicked this one fat guy in the ass as he was fleeing. He said he almost lost his shoe, he got him that good.
BTW, that kid’s arm sling reminds me of Ted Kennedy’s neck brace.

in the past this would be a teachable moment not to act like a bully towards bigger people. a golden rule moment. Dont treat others in a way you wouldnt want them to treat you.
in the old days theyd get whupped and drqgged back to their parents, whod whup them again, because parents used to be embarrassed about having a$$hole kids disrespecting their elders/neighbors.
we hqve too many apologists here for deliquent crybullies. If the parents had actually disciplined him strongly earlier, he wouldnt be a little smart ass punk thug who thinks he can get away with doing this to adults.

Oh my god, that video was way funnier than I imagined. Hearing the little bully start screaming was hysterical. It was like a wildlife video where the moron juveniles finally go too far and the large male send them fleeing.
That kid will have to move.
