George P. Bush Rallies For Trump

George P. Bush, son of Trump's former presidential candidate rival Jeb Bush, has voiced his support for the current president yet again in a rousing speech at the Texas Republican convention earlier today.

As noted by Todd Gillman of the Dallas News, George P. rallied the Texas GOP by declaring. "Are we gonna stand up for President Donald J. Trump. Are we going to reject the fake news and the liberal media? … Yes we are."

Bush is a formidable politician in the Lone Star state. He currently holds the position of Texas Land Commissioner. But, he has fallen under controversy and accused of corruption because "after he took office in 2015, the Daughters of the Republic of Texas were removed from overseeing the Alamo and replaced by nonprofits that Bush's General Land Office controls," according to the Dallas News.

Isn’t GP the only one left in elective office? I doubt
seriously that he will advance into the national level.

Yes, the last one...and apparently only one still interested in running for office. That’s probably a good thing. I could see him attempting to run for Senator when Cornyn steps down, but that’s as high as I see him going.

He’s already in office and is running for re-election.

Well then, that makes so much sense. So, when is he going to go for higher office?

George P. Bush is probably the biggest reason the GOP went along with the Kenyanesian Usurpation.

The real reason is they are a spineless bunch of weasels.

I remember this guy a few years back when he was just starting his political career. He was all about identity politics. I can’t remember the exact wording he used, but he sounded like your typical whiney liberal, making reference to Hispanics being treated unfairly, the GOP needing to reach out more to Hispanics, etc. He sounded like a Democrat. I don’t think someone so sniveling changes over night. I’m suspicious to say the least.

“You have been warned. “

No warning necessary.

Nobody around here is stupid enough to fall for it.

Now, Texans, they voted in his uncle and his grandpa...and Ted Cruz to boot.

Which is a damn site better than what my state produced since REAGAN.

Actually George P. has been supporting Donald Trump since during the 2016 election.

And I’m sure Thanksgiving Dinner and probably even Christmas weren’t pleasant for him at the family dinner table.

Don Jr. has gone to Texas and held several events with George P.

Think of it this way. Bush runs with the endorsements of Jeb and W... Maybe Romney, Paul Ryan and Turtle. Pretty sure that’s going to put a drag on anyone’s campaign. ;)

George P, and Alberto Gonzalez, both went to and graduated Rice University. While not a very political campus, it is a very liberal university.

I do not trust any of the one world Bush family
