Author and “Dilbert” cartoonist Scott Adams says President Trump’s critics may scare him into the voting booth this year.
The author of “Win Bigly: Persuasion in a World Where Facts Don’t Matter” took to social media on Sunday to discuss why he might vote for the first time. The reason: Democrats are “coming for you next” if Republicans lose control of Congress.
“The left has made it clear that this is personal now,” Mr. Adams told his large fan base on YouTube. “This is citizen to citizen. Probably the safest thing you can do if you’re a Republican is to help get out the vote because it’s going to be a dangerous place around here if the president gets impeached. I’m not wrong about that, right? Impeachment is the point where the risk of something snapping is pretty high.”
Mr. Adams, whose “Dilbert” cartoon runs in over 2,000 newspapers around the world, added to his popularity during the 2016 election season by being one of the first commentators to predict Mr. Trump’s electoral success....

The right one is still alright, though swollen. The left one is gone, along with half my leg. It could be worse.
Scott Adams put up an interesting analysis of the dozen Russians indicted for hacking. As he suggests...there’s just some funny ‘smell’ to the story, and the total lack of evidence by the FBI...seems to stand out..
I will say this....a fifteen minute dose of Scott Adams talking over these daily topics...does make you more perceptive of events going on.
He is correct on one key thing facing us today....believability is at an all-time low for most Americans (doesn’t matter if we are talking political stuff, news media, banks, FBI, science business, special agendas, etc). We are becoming a nation of skeptics, and it’s at an all-time level.

We're no where near an all time record level. This nation started as a nation of skeptics and as reading about the Whiskey Rebellion shows, it was a nation of skeptics as soon as the Federal government lifted a finger to do anything other than enforce the tariffs at ports and provide enough of a Navy to keep the British off our necks.
It wasn't until the 60s when television replaced newspapers as the primary source of information for most people, especially younger people, that Americans were lulled into the sort of trance that most loyal democrats are still in.
Increasing skepticism isn't the problem, not even a problem. The amazing lack of skepticism is the problem

In the late 1700s Americans knew how to be _really_ nasty to politicians and those on the other side of issues.
Then there was that Revolutionary War thingy which looked a lot like a Civil War in a lot of places. :-)

Impeachment? I’m afraid MSNBC is going to “inspire” some Left lunatic to attempt an assassination on the President. There has already been a political shooting at a baseball field, and a physical assault on a senator. It will only get worse as the Democratic Party, win or lose, continues to go off the rails.

The system is broken.
What used to be politically liberal has named itself progressive, but in reality, is simply communist. Cloaking communism in Democratic Socialism is fooling nobody. And, with Antifa and BLM, it is increasingly violent, and has overtaken government with “Deep State” operatives functioning against national interest with impunity, brazenly lying to Congress and the citizenry. Justice and law enforcement is completely corrupted, national security heavily compromised.
Freedom and Liberty are severely impaired in America now.
We can only hope that a Trump and his administration can withstand the constant onslaught and return our institutions to strength and safety.
Conservative still exists, yet is overshadowed by emerging nationalist extremists. The constitutional republic is no longer functioning as a benevolent protective strong government. Our nation is being ripped apart.
